Thank You! Throttle cable on my car came lose, giving me a mushy gas pedal and no acceleration. I called my relative for an advise and he pointed me towards the problem, but I couldn't quite figure out how to put this cable back in its place. This video helped with that immensely. It was short and to the point. Easy to understand. Thanks again!

My 2011 fiesta sound control buttons in front of the radio are not working out of the blue, although the buttons on the steering wheel are working perfectly. So I was looking for a video like this in order to remove the mask Infront of the radio to check if there is a loose wire or a fuse behind it that might have caused it. Sadly I can't really tell if there is any while looking at the vid and I'm wondering if I should remove it to check myself. Do you have any idea what might be the problem, only the buttons on the mask of the radio don't work.

I have a 1997 Saturn SC2 with an automatic transmission. So I called Jiffy Lube & asked how much do they charge to change the transmission fluid & filter and he said between $400-$600. I said to myself F**K THAT! I just changed the fluid & filter, a lot in part with the help of this video. Filter incl/taxes = $17.59, transmission fluid & drain pan incl/taxes = $39.80. Total Cost was $57.39 @Oreilly’s. I had a $20 coupon so I ended up spending a total of $37.39. It took me 4 hours to do it because it was my first time. I didn’t even have to lift the car because I was able to get under there from the front bumper to unscrew the drain plug. I did not remove the air duct, I disconnected the air box cover from the air box, removed the resonator & then the air box. After I removed the air box, I was able to remove the filter with both of my hands and I didn’t use a tool to do it. Thank you Richpin. You’re a boss. Friday 9/20/2024

Nice video. 5 turns out on the main tells me someone recognized it was running lean and tried to correct with the mixture screw, when it was likely the inlet screen was clogged, the pump diaphragm was stiff or there was some other fuel restriction. Unfortunately the kits are now like $22 and Walbro no longer offers nozzle check valve assemblies.

I tried the same bushing on mo 2001 Saturn and won’t work for some reason. Won’t lock around the ball. Sending it back through Amazon. It went so much easier taking the 4 13 millimeter bolts out of the shifter bracket. Less struggle for me.

Hey Richpin, if i was doing all 4 motor mounts on an automatic, what order would you suggest? Do i have to jackup the oil pan aswell as the transaxle?
@Gunnarr123abc12 күн бұрын
Someone online said to do it this order: Remove upper dogbone Remove and install trans mount Install upper dogbone Remove the motor mount, place the mount on the studs, but do not put the nuts on yet Remove and install the lower dogbone but do not tighten bracket nuts under car yet Put the 5 nuts on upper motor mount and tighten Tighten lower dogbone bracket nuts from beneath

Thank you for the explanations about piston rings to be worn on high mileage in one of your comments. Like described in another comment below our 2001 Saturn SL2 I also needs to add oil (not that much as described in that previous comment, probably just ~ 1 quart, but still) between oil changes, and didn't know the reason for that, since 2 other our cars don't need it. Is it very hard to get to those piston rings to replace them? How heavy is that top to remove? Thank you again. Your films are so detailed and exact, like classical music.
