Partly, yes! Also because barroth’s HP pool is lower since he has mud armor, and the wyvern ammo ignores the mud armor.

My setup for this fight: Coral Pukei Helm + Dragon Attack Paolumu Chest + Dragon Attack Deviljho Gloves + Dragon Attack Coral Pukei Belt + Crit Eye Azure Rathalos Pants + Dragon Attack

The trick in this event is not to chase the C stones, but the normal stones which have a 2,5km threshold instead of 5km :)

My armor pieces are: Kushala helm Paolumu chest Legiana gloves Kushala belt Azure rathalos boots It’s currently ice attack 0 so there’s room for improvement but the kushala armor gives nice bonuses to ice attack without it 😅

Element 5 bubbly/resus 3 is probably the strongest melee build in the game, it just takes a lot of melding effort. Hindsight probably should have included that in the FS deep dive video 😅

I think it's quite contextual. I understand you are talking about clearing 10stars, but for many of us who are just farming 8stars daily for materials etc, the gloves fits right into my part breaker BD bow build. With PB 5 (1 driftsmelt), focus 5 and fighting spirit 2 and 10.5 bd bow, I can take out most monsters within 25 seconds. So it's quite useful for lazy ppl like me haha. But thank you for the informative video!

If you're just clearing 8 stars, then FS is a pretty reasonable skill for pretty much any weapon. Since you're killing in about 20 seconds or less, you get to shave off a few seconds per monster. But this video was to showcase how FS performs at higher level play, and how it might compare to the current alternatives.
