Some songs were leaked and others were singles and got released earlier. I'm not sure which is for this song, but Slow Rush came out early 2020, with this song included

I wonder what would’ve happened if this song didn’t have meh reviews and press. People were pretty underwhelmed by the track and it shows because this sounds completely different to what the Slow Rush ended up being. Would’ve loved to hear what the album would’ve sounded like if the internet wasn’t so prominent in everyone’s lives.

Nahhh TSR had been in the works for a minute by this point, Kevin isn’t the type to change an album do to fan/media pressure. This was a stopgap song meant to placate fans who hadn’t heard a TI song since the B Sides from Currents dropped in 2017

idk, i personally enjoy this one. I love the message, the patience, to learn to take a moment in these trying times, you just gotta be patient to learn to like this song

This was magical for me when it came out, cos it was the first fresh Tame Impala stuff in nearly four years. Aged ok but yeah maybe Lost In Yesterday and Is It True still holding up better as big hits for me from The Slow Rush
