the electric green reminds me or Travis Barkers sparkle green hip hop kit

Decent review man. Glad you’re happy with it. I got one last December on clearance for $150 brand new from GC and although I wasn’t really looking for a new kit I thought for the price I’ll mess around with it at home and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I will say it’s been an absolute blast to jam out on, I use it with an EAD10 and it’s been perfect, sounds much bigger than it is. As for the quality, I’m a bit underwhelmed… not that it’s bad by any means, no issues with bearing edges or anything really, just wish the hoops were beefier, I currently have Evan’s G12’s on the top of the toms with genera resos and the G12’s have been a pain to properly keep in tune because the hoops are so lite the heads put to much counter pressure on them.. but when they are in tune, like right now (both sides about the same pitch) they absolutely sing, especially with Evan’s EQ rings, I’ve found they sound way better than gels on the kit. Bass drum sounds fantastic, I have a Remo SMT on it and it has a nice punch and super loud. Again, the classes are so cheap, they bend so easily. The snare was ok but the drum screws on the throw off stripped first time I unscrewed them to change the heads so I had to find a new throw off that came close to fitting, I had to widen a couple holes but I haven’t really used the snare anyways since I have a handful of other very nice ones. All in all, I’m enjoying the kit so much I’ve been looking into getting another bop kit of a bit higher quality. A SONOR AQ2 would be awesome. I’d also probably be happier with the kit if it wasn’t the Aquabats edition lol. I’m not really a fan of them and their logo is plastered all over it so I’d be a bit reserved taking it to a gig. The shell pink would be pretty sweet tho…

Liked the video! But can you tune it better and make a good solid video with a nice tight groove? Thanks

That question is futile! Every few months, I have a new favorite Dream Theater song and I've been following them since the AWAKE album. I've been to at least 10 concerts. I had front row center twice! I'm a bassist and I have the Bongo 6 that Myung plays. You sound great on that cover! Keep it up!
