could never understand why the guys in the ford escorts set their rears up so loose that they can barely get enough traction to accelerate out of a turn without the ass end dancing from side to side on dry roads.their worthless on wet stages.

Well Podge, it’s in the Dunworley stage. No access into the location but is around a 10/15 mins walk from a accessible road

My youth was spent going to Latton quarry sprints its a great track that can easily wreck a car 😅

@@Barry.ONeill it’s nearly all tarmac/ concrete now the only likely damage is from getting out of control Caven motor club have made a very good job the only downside for spectators is the brambles on the spectator area have got a bit out of control

@ yes when in Ireland fishing allways get as much motor sport as possible the first time at Latton Josh/ SAM Moffat where starting out on their motorsport careers never been to a bad event there it’s a good place for someone to learn car control and good for the more experienced drivers

@@iandraper32 be great if you could make it over some time. Just check out the 2025 Irish Rally Calendar on Rally Insights page on google. Big events such as Donegal, West Cork, Galway etc would be worthwhile as they are 2/3 day events

Ps , re watched this a few times now - four wheel drifting in heavy rain / the starlet at 34 seconds with a wheel up - driver feel and control with no margin for error ,, doesn't get any better for spectators , or does rwd historics . Know two brothers who used to hill climb a lotus sunbeam and a corolla . The 1600 corolla revved to 9k all day , man ,, was it loud 😂
