I don't know if you guys go through this, but my cat used to jump on my table where I have my plants and mess everything up. That was until I put a bluetooth speaker on the table and waited until he jumped up there to play this. He wouldn't react to it any other time I played it, but I think that jumping on the table to hear those wretched noises must cause him to assume that it is the cry of a beast ready to defend itself..."whether it be the table or the plants..or something in the plants...i just dont wanna mess with it" In one session, I only did it a few times and he doesn't really mess with it anymore. (Just to be clear, he is not terrified when this happens. Just cautious enough to go and chill somewhere else.)

Anytime I want to shut up my cat, I just play my flute. My family and neighbours love my playing, even late at night. But for some reason my cat hates it 😂 so I kill two birds with one stone: I get to enjoy some music playing, and she stops meowing.
