Okay, I don't normally comment, but I feel compelled to do so here as this guy thinks viewers are stupid, or at least ignorant. I'm exactly from Sydney, Australia, and can tell you that this spider was one they had prepared in advance for this video. The venom has been extracted, and the spider has also most probably been sedated. I can tell you all right now that this isn't the demeanour of a funnel-web spider. There is absolutely no way to handle this species without getting bitten; they are extremely aggressive, and WILL bite, no ifs or buts. If this was real, this guy would've been in hospital, or dead. This is staged, and absolutely fake. Thank you.

Thought this was half-clickbsait at first that I was willing to give a pass for due to vernacular, emphasizing frequency/etc of snakes more realistic over a taipan, but they did say Taipan as #1, and explain its lack of threat, but it's deadliness, thank you! I wish I could like more than once!

Years ago, my mother-in-law got loose in my house, so we felt we had no other choice except to keep her in a cage! She kept escaping, so we moved her to a large aquarium with a lock on the lid. Not knowing exactly what to feed it, we just fed her live crickets and mice. We got tired of having her around, but releasing her back into the wild wasn't an option. We ended up having to put her down!

My sister was bitten 3 times by a Brown Recluse eleven years ago on her lower left leg. It was in her bed. The reaction was so bad that the ER doctors thought she had MRSA. Trying to prevent bone damage, she was given chemo. The swelling went past the circle the doctor drew on her ankle, all the way above her knee. Eleven years later, she still doesn't have sensation in her foot from the venom damage. They're nothing to take as lightly as this guy does.

You missed our most dangerous snake,The coastal Taipan,Third strongest venom ,has fangs twice as long as any other snake in Australia,& can grow to 3 metres,& can get very cranky

I'm going to Add this comment before watching the video and just say that I've heard the same things and then one day I was just sitting in my room and I had this really hot burning feeling like really hot burning feeling on my toe and I looked down to see you daddy long leg with its mouth or whatever you want to call the little pincher things around its mouth and it was right on my toe and it was a little wet spot there there was no bite was was burning hot but it did not give me a rash I didn't get anything on it but it got hot very hot

I wanted to mention that I used to let spiders bite me and stuff when I was a kid and my dad one time got bit by a black widow the Black Widow got away I caught the Black Widow and I made it bite me and it did nothing to me not I got a little tiny itchy spot then I killed a spider you know because my dad made me and so in truth here my dad got this huge swollen area it did nothing to me right I have another story I used to be you know get itchy and kind of inflamed when I get bit by a you know wasps or stung by bees I mean somebody lost their bees well one time while throwing rocks at wasp nest can a swim Club tournament I got stung on the head of the dick b y a wasp needless to say I was about 8 years old it hurt very much I went up to my mom saying can you help me you know and she's like let Mr Smith look at it this was a nurse that was my friend's mom so of course I just ran away crying and laid down in the Grass at the park for a while and let it stop hurting but I'd also made other spiders bite me nothing that has been I'm usually seems to bother me ever since that sting on the dick nothing like that bothers me I walk up to a wasp nest and rip it right off the side of the house with my bare hands and crumpled it up in a ball or whatever no wasp sting or anything like that can compare to being stung on the head of the dick

Will I can definitely say that there's something about their saliva then in their mouth that create some sort of heat and some sort of way breaks down food because it was burning the side of my foot it didn't do anything except make that area hot for a second

Yea.. Mate, what the actual f**** are you doing lol. As an Aussie, who's had brown snakes, A taipan and funnel webs in my yard, you're a loose nut. One of the most stupid decisions I've ever seen. Still holds the titles for the world's most lethal spider.. wake up to ya self

These snakes are very common where I live near Sale in Victoria Australia. I've even seen an Albino one at the Common just on the outskirts of Sale. Some of the islands near Tasmania have tiger snakes that are all black so they can heat up quicker for hunting mutton bird chicks.

As funny as it can be to watch you make fun of KZbinrs who overreact to pain for views, I gotta say, it's equally funny watching you try to downplay it while you're turning red and sweating and then jump cutting to being miserable in a tub being in constant pain. Hey You underplayed just how deadly they are , athe Common Death Adder Acanthophis Antarcticus and All Death Adders, are 6 deadliest Snake on earth, they deadly , they can wait in the one place for a year , and they are the fastest striking snake , faster than a Gaboon Viper, much deadlier too , but vipers have venoms from hells kitchen,, Like the Boomslang a colubrid, rear Fanged horror, AT least if an inland bites you you die quick , not wait till half your body rots off , bleed thru every hole, kidney failure , arrrghh , cheers

It's been an Australian folk story I've heard over the years , they say a 2nd bite from a Death Adder is fatal , don't take my word for that , but I've heard it 100 times over 50 plus yrs .. R
