Genshin’s issues have continued to pile up over the years, and HoYo’s greed has made the game increasingly more predatory. Kuro’s approach to both the Gacha and the combat is in an entirely different league compared to HoYo’s. WuWa also just has a lot to do in the game, and if you manage to finish everything and have a lot of free time before the next update/patch, you can always challenge yourself with the end game content and continue collecting the reward mats. However. Genshin’s story, even with its problems, is simply much better than WuWa’s. The lore is not only more interesting, but it is both deeper and more comprehendible than WuWa’s. And that is for both the wider lore AND the characters’ backstories. For me, the story is at least half the reason to play the game. I stopped playing WuWa twice after trying to get into it, and the reason is 100% the half-baked writing. I’m hoping that 2.0 will show Kuro’s growth in dialogue and story, otherwise I’m probably going to put it down for good. I’m following Genshin now almost exclusively for the story. I have other games I can play for the combat that don’t require me to potentially pay more money to change my playstyle.

The moment 2.0 dropped, I confidently quit Genshin. Why wait for it to get good again while you can play something that is good already?

I think Wuthering Waves can and will outrgrow Genshin Impact. It's story is still in it's early stages. It's combat is already better than Genshin. It's character design is already better than Genshin. It's character's gameplay is already better than Genshin. So it isn't exactly lacking behind in terms of any of those things. It just needs more time and it will definitely outgrow Genshin.

I love wuwa, it's my favorite gacha game, as a gacha player of almost a decade. There were a lot of things I liked about wuwa right away, the initial generous rewards during the release of the game, how fast it is to climb mountains compared to genshin, how fun and smooth the exploration is, the echo system and farming, then I liked how innovative each character release is, the consistent quality of the models including the npcs, the events, etc, wuwa didn't have a retarded flying baby yelling in my ear so it was immediately better in my view from the very start but now it has climbed to be my favorite and priority. The complaints that people have I do not experience, people don't like that rover keeps getting wife after wife in the story but I don't see that as this huge problem because I want both roverussies too 👅 People (specially on tiktok) call wuwa a gooner game because of the way their tiddies flop around lol, I do find it a fit cringe too but I would pick that over the three pulls you get as a genshin player, because it's a small issue compared to getting dogwater rewards for four years straight. After playing wuwa i see genshin as nothing but as a non-stop slopfest, my ar 60 account with a dozen limited signature weapons will remain untouched until EOS (or maybe i’ll sell it to some random southeast asian man who knows)

With the exception of games like Cookie Run and all of it's aliases that get a pass, a lot of anime gacha games for the most part are for coomers and degens that want to constantly look at big-breasted, barely dressed and long-legged bimbos daily more than playing the game. I can get more fulfillment and joy out of ZZZ than Gentrash Garbagepact. I'm not touching WW until the PS5 version comes out. I don't ever play many games for PC such as Wuwa that can be better played on a console, my opinion on that.

i like genshins world design better, wuwas more dark and apocalyptic theme didnt quite stick to me first but even if i like genshins world better, its not worth it to stick to it when all those unskippable quests feel like a complete waste of time. i gotta say i am addicted to genshin because i cant bring myself to quit since i have invested so much time in it and just want it to be better but hoyo doesnt give a shit. wuwas skip button was the best thing i have experienced and just because of that the game didnt feel forced for me to play it. i came here for camelliya and the new upcoming characters are looking dope, especially carlotta. i am hyped!!

I'm so confused. This resin thing has been around for a few years now in Genshin, but this video is from 11 days ago. I haven't played it in a few years, but I still remember rhem giving us resin that can be doubled rewards and events that allow you to use normal resin with 2x rewards 3x a day for however long the duration is. (Weekend, week, etc.)

I still play Genshin because of one reason in particular. I love Best Girl Amber as a character so much, it's like Skyrim for me, I go back to it for reasons unbeknownst to me, with only one reason I know for sure. In Skyrim it's the fantasy world, in Genshin Impact, it's Amber.

Some people will not like the story since they change it compared to the cbt. Compared to cbt our MC is very suspicious in the beginning, Chixia is cautious towards us, not very friendly and suspicious to us she even point a gun towards Rover I also remember yanyang dying very early when we face Crownless the cutscenes of Crownless was very badass even Rover is struggling compared to the present rover in wuwa.

Notice that the comparisons of Genshin vs BOTW ended quickly. Thats because Genshin proved it could stand on its own two feet early on. Wuwu may continue to be compared to Genshin for the duration of the game, always living in its shadow. Its a fun game, but the quality of several aspects are noticibly lower such as music, world design, lore, etc. Future games will not be compared to wuwu because its not unique enough and like it or not, its on a lower playing field in most aspects except for combat, end game, and qol. People give the game too much credit bc they like the generosity of the devs. In the end, its a business, and i doubt any devs are evil and maliciously trying to make a bad player experience. Both games will hopefully suceed but to think Wuwu outshines genshin as a game is hard cope.
