Thom's comment @ 5:00 minutes in is the same as Herbert Hoover's comment after the Great Crash of 1929: "The Market Will Correct All" -yeah, right !
@RiversideRanch-g9r7 күн бұрын
So Thom thinks that people shouldn’t be able to choose Medicare Advantage which they pay for with their taxes but people should be able to tell a business owner how to run the business that he owns. And he thinks that folks that disagree with this are trying to destroy our society, right? Also 3% of a billion dollars is 3 million, 20% of $100,000 is $20,000 so who is not paying enough? A couple of years ago Elon Musk paid $11,000,000,000 in taxes. Based on what I have seen him do, I think he probably could have done more for our country with that money than the government did.

I'm in the midst of reading this book. While it's fairly well written, I can do without the excessive paragraphs and pages of history lessons. Some of what he writes in this regard slightly differs from other sources, and it's not data that's ever part of his personal story. Taplin failed to realize that his target audience would already be familiar with all of these things, so it was all just a huge waste of words. If we're buying a book by Jonathan Taplin, we have to first know who Jonathan Taplin even is to be interested in buying it! Therefore, all of this background information is all old news to his readership. If we're so far along in the game that we see a memoir by Jonathan Taplin, we've already read all of this other regurgitated stuff elsewhere, often repeatedly. This book would have been 65% smaller without all of it, so perhaps he was just padding it out to turn it into a book rather than an article. I may quit reading it, as I'm tired of having to gloss over that much material.

Fantastic, I believe the term “narcissist” is essentially the human embodiment of the wetiko mind virus. Huge ego, vampiric predator. It’s all deeply connected. Nosferatu is basically symbolic of this as well. He mentioned that it’s a sort of trickster energy becasue it imitates life and has no creativity. Dracula is also a shapeshifter. This is all super interesting in Norse mythology as well with the vampire vs lykan. One of the biggest realizations for me has been that the term “shapeshifter” usually brings up a negative connotation, because of its association with vampires, reptilians, skinwalkers etc but all these entities are a cheap imitation of our own potential to create.

Osho didn't live in a "bubble." That is a misunderstanding on your part. Again, the master is giving thousands of people his energy, his consciousness and his presence. He deserves privacy and security. He could live off somewhere else altogether. Why bring this trouble on himself? He loved the Himalayas. He could have lived peacefully and silently somewhere there. No, he lived for us. We knew he was there with us. I didn't need to go disturb him, hi, I love you Osho, watcha doing? Seeing him drive was enough. And feeling him there was enough. It is above all a formless, spiritual experience and relationship.
@prajnachan333Ай бұрын
Again. The drive by was to give every individual some contact with Osho. With so many thousands of us it worjed well. He drove very slowly and we got to offer our gratitude and love to him and receive it back. That's what that was all about.
@prajnachan333Ай бұрын
Your characterization of Osho in Pune and contact with people is incorrect. First of all the master deserves privacy. Would you want hundreds of adoring people at your door around the clock? Second, the meetings in the evening are called darshan. Sitting with the master and receiving his personal insight. It wasn't "an audience" laughing and cheering him on. It was light-hearted but quiet. One person at a time was called up. The group was small. Osho would give thousands of people an intimate contact with him. His insight into them was extraordinary. So was his love and compassion. So please don't misrepresent this man's beautiful caring for people. Then that phase ended. With the number growing, that was not practical. There are many "Darshan Diaries" that recorded those sacred events. You can read them and see for yourself. The dias in Rajneeshpuram was to have a good chance to see him in such a big group. It wasn't to be an emperor! All of his interviews previously were in a moderate sized room with Osho sitting on the floor facing the person. So you simply had the event that was uncomfortable for you. Unintentional, I can assure you.

I became a sannyasin in 1977. Then I went to Rajneeshpuram in 1984. It was paradise, with a cloud over it. I felt from the very beginning that Sheila and her women were off. Day to day it was beautiful, a very loving and easy going atmosphere. But along side that I could feel the efforts of that group to control things. I actually came very close to standing uo in the middle of a big meeting with Sheila and tell her that I didn't feel good about what she was saying. I had to control myself because me instinct is to just go for it. It probably would just gotten my expelled with no benefit! But I always wondered maybe I could have contributed to a conversation. But I drove busses which was fun. Especially during the festivals. I admit that I can be naive about the world and think things are much simpler than they are. This is beautiful. We're living with Osho, there are no problems regarding us. How stupid, right? I never imagined her group were playing I Spy or something. Poisoning people?! What?! Sabotaging this incredible experience. Once in a lifetime. This brilliant master that represents love and compassion. Meditation and celebrating life - down the drain!?! For what? A stupid group lost in ego trips and money and power? What a profound shame. I agree. We never should have let Sheila bring us to Oregon. With the 1000 Friends of Oregon just waiting to obstruct at every turn. Nice job. I think you expressed things for the most part very well. Even the spiritual side. The only thing haunting me is the abuse of children allegations. But, well done. Thank you for shedding light on our time there. 🕉 🙏 Osho! 🎉 2024

To the question why? READ A BOOK of his! Its amazing how people come to conclusions, have hatred even for someone they know nothing about. His books were all talks given spontaneously. He is brilliant. He provokes a spiritual experience, heightened consciousness simply by hearing his words. Read a book.

The first thing Osho said arriving on the Ranch was, "Where are the trees?" He loved trees and would not have chosen that land on his own. 🌳 😂
@prajnachan333Ай бұрын
First of all Osho and his sannyasins are NOT a cult. Christianity is a cult. You must have an ideology everyone follows to be a cult. We have no ideology. It is a scientific approach to meditation and celebration for individuals to realize themselves.

Wetiko = Ahriman. As it feels to me. So interesting to feel in the heavy, sleepy, conventional astrality of places like the USA the presence of these two forces. Love the fact that humans like Paul have the clarity, awareness and consciousness to step back and observe this conditioned state of mass hysteria and insanity in self, others and en masse and to then, critically, choose differently. Truth. Freedom. Choice. Thanks for sharing this interesting information and interview. ❤

What did we do last time? Mariner Eccles, FED chair 1934 - 48, observed what the capital accumulation of neoclassical economics did to the US economy in the 1920s. “a giant suction pump had by 1929 to 1930 drawn into a few hands an increasing proportion of currently produced wealth. This served then as capital accumulations. But by taking purchasing power out of the hands of mass consumers, the savers denied themselves the kind of effective demand for their products which would justify reinvestment of the capital accumulation in new plants. In consequence as in a poker game where the chips were concentrated in fewer and fewer hands, the other fellows could stay in the game only by borrowing. When the credit ran out, the game stopped” A few people have all the money and everyone else gets by on debt. When the credit ran out, the game stopped. When wealth is too unevenly distributed the system stops working. Keeping the system running on credit is what we call a short/medium term solution; it doesn’t work over the long term. What did we do? We added redistribution by taxation, and used it provide cheap housing, education, health and other services. How did that work? Disposable income = wages - (taxes + the cost of living) Employees get their money from wages, so employers pay the cost of living through wages. A low cost of living works for employees and employers. A strong healthy middle class developed in the West. You probably haven’t noticed, but the arc of progress did a U-turn after the Keynesian era, and we went back to the economic thinking that preceded it with neoclassical economics. If we want to get back there, we need to remove the redistribution by taxation. You keep the economy running on debt for as long as possible. When it collapses, you have a rethink. A new generation comes along that can’t remember last time, and you do it again.

I just found your video. You recount your awakening experience through dream-time and spiritual practice, which is also how I discovered the virus of mind infecting me with false narratives about myself. My decades of awakening...of spiritual alignment and integration, of breaking the spell of delusion into whole self wellbeing and service to the soul of humanity. I wrote about this years ago, but unknowing about you. Self observation and dispassionate awareness of the outer world is necessary to reveal the I AM. This is a process that can be duplicated. Humans fine tune your instrument!

I decided I didn't want to be a fortune teller ..and chose to throw myself totally into developing my natural born with ability to channel healing energy. It's not reiki ..way beyond . ( I have deep respect for Reiki ) and in doing that found myself an activist for healing . Choosing a diet is an act of political activism ..how not to continue poisoning myself . The more Jimmy Carter work the worst the country got! Jimmy Carter had one of the greatest egos in presidential history. He never let his aids forget who was president, had a obsolute fantasy about the world, and dealing with Congress, he had a common trait in hating his opponents, and was the root cause of the Shah of Iran's downfall and subsequent hostage crisis. The US embassy had been briefly overran in February 1979 and should have been evacuated after that being resolved. The US virtually had no diplomatic relations with Iran and had no need to be there, the government was openly hostile to the West and the US in particular. There were warnings that bringing the Shah to the US for medical assistance could result in the embassy being taken and Carter alluded to that possibility during meetings prior to allowing the Shah in and still didn't order the embassy closed and personnel home. The humiliation this country would suffer was avoidable. He was an environmental nut Job that would have repercussions for domestic oil production with regard to the Alaska land grab. He was a terrible communicator, hardly aroused confidence from the citizens and surrounded himself with extremely inexperienced people who offended gave him the wrong advice. The secret Service would openly state that he was an genuine asshole to deal with, where they loved Reagan. Certainly a better ex- president who was a male mother Theresa, but his performance as president will never rise..
