You should've been there when God created the world and give your sagely advice to our patriarchs how Avraham and Sarah should've dealt with Ishmael, Isaac and Rivka with Eisev, Yaakov with Dinah etc. You think that you created nurture and just validate any wrongdoing of children? I sense you went wrong in life as well. A child who crosses the Street while cars are running should be lectured. Exactly as you say, we brought in children into world for Hashem, but it is clearly as the Shlah Hakadosh prayer says that the 2 parts of Pri Irvu and Velimadetom es Benaichem are both the same. They are born to serve, be pious, and be an eved Hashem. The environment of the Shabbes table is beautiful with family sitting around and being happy and enjoying a Shabbes with nurture and secure in environment. Why would one child who decided to go off the path and just ruin the foundation his or her parents worked so hard on building be validated? Why not criticizing and nurturing them with love and advising them of their errors? This is not the tzivu hashem! You speak well and pretend there is no elephant in the room. But in reality, this kids and making a churban of yiddishkeit. A simple question I have, why would a decent 14-15 year old boy want to stay in Yeshiva, get up at dawn to study and need to dress accordingly when he sees a few friends his age, hanging out without any pressure, smoking and chilling, earning an income and having the time of his life. As much nurture and happiness parents will give them, it does not compare to freedom. A child needs to be a Saint not fall for the Sigya children u name it! The fact of the matter Rabbi Sugya is the thousands of children are going OTD more and more because of validation and basically they take out some anecdotes from your speeches and culminate them to one speech and send these clips to parents. If a child went through trauma, they need to be treated and of course they have a severe psychological reaction. Yes they need help, and shoukd go for therapy but not by just validation and no critique whatsoever. That's not parenting al pi Torah, you can have constructive criticism and show much love but there should be boundaries. You have comforted many parents having the Sugya child as you name it to deal with the children as you have. But you are no wiser then our sages, there far more children falling away nowadays then ever before. Yes show love, give him personal time but our fundamental of yiddshkeit you pack. I agree you do not need to criticize and scold them, but just letting them get away and look away would make them grow up in a worse condition. The facts are here with more and drop outs every day.

Is this the guy who remarried (with children) to a single girl he flirted with, when her father invited him for shabbos? Literally killing the father when he ran off with her and married her.
