Or you could use The Dragon King Greataxe and kill him in 2 heavy attacks in 10 sec instead of 2 minutes and 41 seconds

I just used that axe. I saved Rhea from the Tomb of Giants and went straight towards him as soon as I saw her at the church. Completely one shot him
