You showed the hook link etc, what main line? Mono braid and breaking strain? Gorgeous scenery. Plan on touring up through Finland by motorcycle and always carry a couple of fly rods and beach caster. So with limited space I was interested in carrying the right gear to catch dinner. Nice production 👏

I never ever thought about going for rays in February at southbourne ! Well played .. but also ! This is a life changer with pot noodles .. take a pan and boil them 😋 they go soft like they did 20 years ago !!

Great video but to increase your Flattie catches you need "White Ragworm". In that area there is a bed of "Snakes" that i planted over 20 yrs ago. Yes i took 50 7" worm and repopulated an area not more than 2 miles from where you are fishing. I used to harvest it only twice a year and that was after 10 yrs leaving it alone.. Sadly my fishing days are over due to arthritis. If you'd like to know where it is I'd be happy to divulge its whereabouts. P.m me on messinger

Great idea using the sand spikes do they work as well in the larger shingle areas of chesil further east?

yes they do! just need to rock them side to side as you drive them into the shingle !
