Always knew about this game since launch but never bothered with it. I'd buy a copy and play it in 2017 i think? I enjoyed it.

It's definitely underrated. If it launched on PC I'd buy it easy because of how fun it is.

It's not inspired by FF Tactics. It is literally set in the same world as FF Tactics. Same as FF 12 and 14. The world of Ivalice, created by Yasumi Matsuno. That is why the vibe, music, art direction etc are identical. Play through FF12 if you haven't already and you'll feel it right away. It's a fantastic entry in the series.

I have a huge list of games I completed going back to Zelda on the GB in 1992.. Vagrant Story is still number 3 on my list, just behind Shenmue I & II. This was supposed to be a prequel to something great. They never followed up on it...

Giants came with my graphics card. For whatever reason this game really did it for me when it came out. The humor and janky, barely duct taped together nature of the game was a perfect combo for my degenerate brain. There are moments in these cutscenes where I must have played them over and over, as they are still stuck in my head. 1:21:27 had me in stitches
