Good try But lack of conceptual talk You can also tell us that the lateral strain in steel is .4 times the lateral strain in concrete and at the point of contact of steel and concre this lateral strain should be same. It means steel try to prevent lateal strain of concrete. That's why the failure load comes out more than actual. While in cylindrical specimen restraining effect is limited up to the ceratin depth. Due to which. Result obtained by cylindrical is less than that of cubical specimen strength but are more acuurate and closer to actual result. As the depth increase fialure load load decrease. And this reasons behind the strength factor of different size of cube for example for 100mm cube shape factor is 1.05 and 150 mm 1 and 200 mm .95 respectively . You should also discuss about this . This makes your video different from another.. kyo ki student keval ek bar ata hai... agar use kuchh solid sikhne ko mila to dubara ata hai .. thank u

The KZbin algorithm took a while to recommend me this channel but I'm glad it did! I was looking for a channel like this who could teach the concepts which are important from competitive exams point of view. Loved the way you presented the objective problems with clean solutions.

does this video cover the design for each layer of rigid pavement sir?
@civilspotlight6903
@civilspotlight6903 3 жыл бұрын
yes but partially. As these videos are meant to impart learning for ESE, GATE & competitive exams. But you can get the whole idea of design philosophy from the videos.

@@civilspotlight6903 plz guide me what should i do for complete 5km rigid pavement design ...is it enough to cover the following points: 1)Slab thickness 2)drainage layer 3)joints 4)No.of slabs Actually i have to compare these calculations with kenpave software...
@civilspotlight6903
@civilspotlight6903 3 жыл бұрын
@@asadraza3301 Since you have compare the calculations with the kenpave so it is fine. But if you get IITRIGID that would also be good. You have designed the slab now check for sub-grade & Base course( if required) which is mentioned in code , then you will be good to go.

@@civilspotlight6903 sir subgrade & base course kesy karoon mujhy to manual me nahi mila....kindly agar ap koi content suggest karden...bss sirf ye 2 layers rehty hn baaki hogya hy
@civilspotlight6903
@civilspotlight6903 3 жыл бұрын
@@asadraza3301 Refer IRC 58 :2015 clause 5.7 which has information regarding sub-grade and stabilized subbase. Is section ko phadne ne ke baad design pura ho jaaega. Also check the videos from this channel from L7-3A to L7-5 ( to have basic learning ). I hope this would solve your problem.
