Anyone else notice at times the pit is smooth stone lined like a well and others it jagged like a cave entrance near the surface? Kindda makes ye wonder if the footage is of the same location or if they are splicing footage of different locations to make it appear deeper. Not to mention the footage of the climber is a MUCH larger opening than the size claimed for mel's hole. Even at the beginning they show three different locations as being pictures of the hole with differing vegetation around each. The supposed location of mel's hole is about a mile and a half inside of yakima training center, and has been since before this supposedly took place.
