It's funny how he thinks Dak is productive. I am a huge Cowboys fan, I watch every single play of every game this guy and other football fans that like other teams don't watch every play of every Cowboys game. They see highlights they don't see all the terrible throws that Dak makes and the terrible interceptions. The Cowboys defense held the 49rs to 19 points last year in the playoffs and Dak throws 3 interceptions 2 in the red zone to lose the game. Dak led the NFL in the most interceptions last year with 5 less games played then any NFL QB and he thinks Dak is productive 😅😅

It's hard to imagine the front office blundering this worse. 2 first round picks and a 2nd, use the kid for 8 games and give him to the Cowboys for a 4th next year. Trading him to the Seahawks would've been better than Dallas.

Naw, it ain't a racist thing. It's a "Johnny Football" thang. If our 49er top front office is gullible to fall for that off season Draft frenzy hype, then this is what you get. I remember when the NFL was hyping up that untested frat boy Manzel, and so many fools bought the snake oil hype. Ever hear of Tebow? Alex Felicia Smith? Trey Lance was simply another over hyped branding scheme, bit by naive front office fools, hook, line and sinker. Jerry jones spoke to the media today about the trade. Sounds like they really wanted him and even said they're willing to pay him his 5th year to develop him as a possible heir to Dak one day. As much as I hate the cowboys it sounds like hes in good hands. Happy for him.

Sorry for the long ass response..but, Jerry Jones has had the niners playbook for the last 10 years..nothing new there..u dont think York thought of that before the trade? Wouldn't trip on that fr. And I bet they will have a special plan for that game to be safe... Also, the mental warfare move is this: lance will be a big distraction in Dallas late in the year when Dak flubs and will bring all of that baggage with him from the lance diehards/media, its actually a good move to sell the niner qb drama to them. This lets the niners finally focus on other weaknesses of the team and Brock can focus on his game with the team. Sometimes you gotta cut the fat and role with the punches man. Cant have two captains on one ship. Hindsight is 20/20, nobody knew brock was gonna take treys job, nobody knew trey was gonna be on the bench for his entire career from injuries. Trey got the starting job over jimmy without even proving he was ready, so that was managment going all in on him and gave him plenty of time.. 3 years later, they are all in on Brock, and between darnold/lance as backup it is a crap shoot either way. one completely unproven, the other just average af but with experience. Personally I would like to have all 3, but I get the move. They need a competition car ready today with the team we have now, instead of waiting on that project car to be ready and the race not even be there in a few years..how many more years would we let lance "have his reps?" and sit brock out? I agree with you. This was a horrible process. I wanted Justin Fields too. Even, according to rumors, John Lynch wanted Justin Fields. Who ever made the final decision and didn't plan for the player development process is an idiot. We got lucky with Purdy. It was like the Rams Trent Green and Kurt Warner situation.
