Im running this same setup with a with a single coil dual style. Does the red 12v connect to the coil and supply 12v to the coil plus the orange and yellow coil wires? I have the led in ignition lighting up but no spark!! Can we possibly correspond about my issue?? Cant find any support in english lol. also my leds on the ignition light up red not green

Joe, I bought a PMA kit from TC Bros, the Tytronic electronic ignition and a new coil to run both plugs. Do I need anything else? Do I need a CDI? Does one come in the TYRONIC kit? Do I have everything I need?

the cr 80 you have has a huge rear sprocket, so yes in that way it is limited, this had a very very small rear sprocket, I'm going to post all the math here soon as I have the knowledge to do so, but the cr80/85 has a redline of 12000 rpm (factory Ignition unit) and if you do the math IE, 12000 rpms, 4th gear is 1 to 1 ratio. 5th gear is actually overdrive , ratio unknown at this time, but with that unknown ratio you can take the 12000 rpm and the 5th gear ratio and the final drive Raito IE the front and rear sprockets, and finally the outside dimensions of the rear tire and come up with an exact top speed at redline,, if anyone out there has some 5th gear specs and is willing to help sort this out I would appreciate it. I can provide final drive ratios and tire dia.

it does indeed do 120 top speed on the strait away. we actually changed the rear gear on tooth to obtain more acceleration, the bike has enough power to pull the front wheel of the ground ,
