This is my home trout stream. We are there a lot. From what I can see this guy is fishing Zone 3. It's a fly only zone. Of course if you fish the lures he's using your going to catch fish but your also going to catch yourself a citation.

Recording yourself breaking the laws is pretty impressive That’s why you’re catching so many, illegal bait.

Good tips at the only MO trout park I haven't fished, yet! I really recommend a rubber mesh net and Polaroid glasses. They are very helpful when sight fishing.

I thought dough baits were not allowed inside the park.

If you get to see this place, say "hi" to it for me. I'll likely never get to see it again.

Use a net! It's easier on you and the trout. Trout are so slippery, people have a tendency to literally squeeze them to death trying to hold on to them. Especially for the smaller ones that you throw back or the catch and release fishing that you did in your video. You don't drop them either when trying to de-hook them. Great video though. Some good pointers. That pool under the big sycamore with all the exposed roots is my favorite place at Roaring River, especially on hot, sunny days.

Man I’ve lost a lot of trout not bringing a net.

I'm taking my young family down there this weekend. Could I just tie a 9ft leader onto the normal line on my standard reels instead of getting a new comb and adding line? Thanks for the video!

This is quality man! What a great day on the river. I’ll be going on my first trout fishing trip this week weekend. Can’t wait to get out there. You need more videos and more subscribers! 😁

@@cast2katch392 I sure will, im also gonna try fly fishing for my first time ever lol so ill update you next week when I get back :) Edit: Also, how packed was it when you were there? Was there a huge amount of people fishing the river?
@cast2katch3922 жыл бұрын
@@southerncastin2552 depends on what you consider a lot, it will be nothing like opening morning. During the summer months there are typically more people fishing. I move from hole to hole so much that it rarely matters.
