I met the great Joey at his house with my long time friend Jeff Berlin (bass) when I visited Jeff down in LA way back when. Fun fact: Joey's car license plate was -- wait for it -- WASNO1 ...as in Was Number One. Apparently he was once considered the no. one B3-ist in the world, then someone else I guess took that spot. He was as cheerful about it as could be. The vision of that massive organ and I don't recall how many Leslie speakers sitting proud and center in his living room is something I will never forget.

Joey used both his hands and feet to play so i was just wondering if his feet ever got tired. what perfect coordination between hands and feet he had. do you call it ambidextrous or quadridextrous? Joey - the G.O.A.T. R.I.P.

Would be great to have Joey’s organ Teaching’s on youtube, nobody play like him and not everyone has the opportunity to pay for the lessons, the way KZbin works it would make it profitable still and pass on the knowledge to absolutely everyone, anyone would become Joey’s student ❤

If you want to hear music the way it’s supposed to be heard - Put those Bose Q C Earbuds in your ears - lay back and “Immerse Yourself” in pure pleasure. You hear the Deep Bass and every individual note there is in the background.. Far more enjoyable than any soundbar on the planet..
