CRINGE ........😳. I think about quitting the Hobby, doing it since 18 years, after seeing 90 seconds of this Video ,regarding the fear to be brought in context with this Video or its creators. I will now treat my eyes and ears with acid to be safe that I never have the expirence such awkward moment in my life again.

Go fly a kite they said ~ It was great advice ! THANKS GIRLS !!! Super stoked now ~ I'm a life long surfer who lived in Hawaii for 30 years and now I'm 73. I started kitesurfing about 6 years ago after waiting for the equipment to catch up with safety gear and cheapen up as used stuff. Used Equipment is cheap now and safe. This video accurately describes the first few years and it's super funny for any kiter who has been through these stages. I was told that if I really Really REALLY wanted to learn kitesurfing that I should move to North Carolina ! WTF !?! OK ~ North Carolina is really really nice ~ even after Hawaii ~ (Cheap living !) The Outer Banks is the best location in the USA because of the very shallow inshore lagoons and sandy bars everywhere and no trees or other obstacles. There are unreal currents and tides out here ~ But the conditions are awesome ! My old surfbuddie tells me "Markus ~ I never thought I'd ever find a sport as great as surfing ! Kitesurfing is way better !!! " for you noobs out there ~ Kitesuring is the superhero sport ! YOU can get into impossible to make waves and shred them wild when you get good enough ! Kitesurfers are the superheros of the air and water... Don't wait too long as I almost did... but the sport was a killer when I first wanted to do it ~ Lots of guys in the hospital... a few dead ones. Time has cured that now... Plenty of accidents and injuries. But ya gotta be smart to keep at it and not kill yourself. I've seen some really stupid mistakes. I've made some really stupid mistakes but it's kinda like riding a bike... once you get it you are STOKED !!! No turning back now ~ Get plenty of lessons though or die a stupid death.

Here’s one thing I don’t understand about foilers. I’ve see. 1 out of, let’s say, 100 actually do more than mow lawns. Any reason why most kite foil guys don’t even pop out of water. ? I’ve noticed wing foil guys don’t even do a simple back roll. Hell they rarely hit waves and swells, always on butter flat water.
