@@abhisektamang454 I was 21 when the 16th Karmapa came to Paris for the Black Hat Ceremony. I had already read Milarepa's Biography and the Tibetan Book of the Dead and was full of fantastic and romantic ideas on spirituality, I had high expectations of this visit ... What happened is both infinitely simpler but also more extraordinary than anything I could have expected. At some point during the ceremony I woke up, like when you wake up after a night's sleep and realize in an instant that the previous moment you were asleep. I was asleep, now I'm awake .. everyone around me was asleep, there must have been thousands of people. They were sleeping and I was awake, the Karmapa himself seemed in an ecstatic state. The experience itself lasted for some time before fading away, and come back spontaneously from time to time. In the following months, years, I met other gurus who helped me to better understand and deepen this experience. I only very rarely share this experience.
