How's the scale on these guys?

@@manjr Hi manjr, they're 28mm, definitely on the chunkier, almost heroic side - very similar to Renegade Miniatures if you ever picked those up before they shut down?

@@CornishCrusade Thank you! Would you say they're similar to other Warlord minis?

@@manjr They're quite well-scaled to the rest of the British range, if I recall rightly. The Warlord Bolt Action range's scale itself is all over the place, but the British part is all broadly consistent.

After reading the early synopsis you posted on the Guilded, I'm really looking forward to more of this. I'm with you 100% on the out-of-whack prices on game book(lets) these days, as well.

4:48 I do find it amusing when a randomly generated labyrinth turns out to be larger and have better furniture than the building or settlement above it.

Hi Bob very interesting game much like d&d , where did you get this game and where did you buy the tiles.

Hi Terry, you can actually get the pdf's of Castles & Crusades' Player Handbook and Monster Manual for free from Troll Lord Games, who own the rules. I picked up the books from scouring secondhand shops online, as they're all mostly printed in America! It is very similar to D&D, as its made by people who left TSR (the company that made D&D) when it was bought out by Wizards Of The Coast. The dungeon tiles I found on Ebay, I think? If you type in something like "lasercut dungeon tiles for dungeons and dragons" or something, you should find lots of options! Hoping you and your wife are well, God bless.

That second room with the four doors leading to different areas reminds me of some houses around here. Makes sense in a dungeon as a chokepoint, but one wonders what the architect was thinking for a residential home :D

Love the look of these guys! Some really characterful models and a paint job to do them justice. I need to get some of the Great War minis at some point, never had the pleasure of painting them myself. Great job mate, the more VBCW there is out there, the better

@@CornishCrusade Is it a screw top? Cause that had a different shade... but if it's a flip top pot then Coat d'Arms is a perfect match. For the post screw top era, Vallejo Game Color goblin green matches :D
