This was taken in Ilan Tawain .Most lens apeture around 5 .6-8 will get a happy result , no matter how bad the brand is.

The KMZ Helios-33 is a legendary soviet cine lens designed in January 1949, using Cooke Series O "Opic" lenses (1936 design) as a reference. This lens shares the same planar optical scheme as the Cooke Panchro S1. It was produced until the 1990's (I've seen copies from 1993). Yes.a duper 16mm lens shall get full frame.

@@8827180 so this makes me think now that EOS M50 while shooting 4k is new digital super 16 camera? at least effective sensor size standpoint? Super 16mm sensor size is 12.5 x 7.4. If EOS m50 ends up shooting 4k with above sensor area then it's pretty much digital super 16. ?? thoughts?

EOSM 50 sensor is a s16mm film sensor which can be used on S16mm as and c mount lens.

@@milanjani old c mount lens shall get vignetting which is the result of 16mm lens small projection area. But some c mount lens were made for 1 inch video camera during 60s can get bigger projection than S16mm.I used 1" c mount lens on Sony A7, FX3 get prefect vintage look of film era.

I have the AT-X Pro version. Going to compare it to my Tamron SP 17 f/3.5 soon. You like your Pro version? They both seem to be quite soft in the extreme corners. 😯

@@suzannewalker2320 I’m a big fan of the Tokina AT-X Pro. All ultra wide angles will be soft in the corners, just the nature of such a lens, especially older ones.
