Hi! So this is a tough one because I don’t use many products. I have my shampoo and a rinse free shampoo that I use once the itching starts. I’ve been using aloe vera juice as well to help with the itchy because the rinse free shampoo sometimes makes the itching worse. My scalp has always been flakey like this, honestly.

Very beautiful work ! I am hesitating to do mine because my hair need a lot of hydration/moisture. Do you think is possible to do like regular knotless box braids with human hair and redo them every 2 months?
@heyybritny
@heyybritny 2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I’m not sure if you are referring to the size of typical knotless braids or something else, but if you do constantly take the extensions down, you’ll risk damaging and/or unraveling your hair that is locking underneath the extensions.

Hey! So I ordered hair recently and had this happen to me. I noticed that it was the packagin with the black Sleek label instead of the red and white Sleek label that I am used to. I reached out to them and they let me know that they were out of stock and had to fulfill my order from a different warehouse. They were super proactive though and send me an extra pack with my order to compensate for the quality issues. Hope this helps!

Your locs look absolutely stunning!! I just…I have ADHD and this is a long video haha so forgive me if I missed this explanation but I was wondering how do you touch up braidlocs with extensions once they’ve already been installed? Do you use a crochet needle? Is there a tutorial somewhere?? Lol having a hard time finding it
@heyybritny
@heyybritny Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! And no worries, I’m happy to answer any questions. I should probably go back and do timestamps if I have time lol. You retouch the new growth with any type of latching tool. If your locs are smaller, you want a smaller latch hook. You can also just use a basic yarn needle or get something more expensive like the nappy loc tool. There are a bunch of tutorials on how to do the different interlocking rotations, but I don’t have one to recommend off the top of my head. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing. This can be hard, no matter what age you are, once you reach adulthood. I have lost touch with friends because we were at different points in our lives with relationships and kids, etc. and I will say that I don't have friends right now. I have acquaintances who I will sometimes go to a meal with on occasion, but I don't have people that I consider friends. My interests are different, being black and liking hiking and camping and video games and epic sci-fi or fantasy novels makes it very difficult for me to find friends with common interests, as well.

You're a really nice person and I love hearing you talk! I can relate so much to you as I've always been a shy/anxious person about talking in public especially in a work environment, and it's something I struggled with at different jobs for many years. In hindsight I wish I spoke to a therapist about it sooner as I think it would have helped a lot. I'm now in therapy and exploring some different issues I have and will include that. I'd recommend it if you haven't already :) Good luck with your search!
