Hi, I succesfully installed Spotify in my Ipod Touch 2, but when I get the username and password screen I just can't get the keyboard to appear in order to enter my username and password. Does anyone experienced this? Thanks!

thanks, this worked for facebook 3.5 on my ipod 1st gen. i didnt have to use iExplorer, just added the .ipa to itunes and synced

You cant use the radio feature though right?? Is there a spotify app for iOS 3.1.3 which has the radio feature??

New much easier way to do this! Like so everyone can see! 1. Jailbreak your ipod touch 1g using reddoor 2. Install whitedoor (most people have already done steps 1 and 2) 3. go into 3store 9comes with Whitedoor a an app in the market page) 4. go to mediafire link in 3store browser 5. download and install! Enjoy!:)

You need hackulo.us for appsync, otherwise iTunes will remove Spotify during every sync. And both paths are pracitcally the same, since there's a shortcut to /var/ in the root of every iDevice.

Path is wrong - Correct path (in iExplorer) is Root/private/var/mobile/Documents/Installous/Downloads Also I don't think the hackulo.us source are needed anymore, now that you need Installous from the insanelyi source. Besides that, thanks for the guide! :)

Thank you so much buddy! Accidentally deleted my spotify app and it Apple or Spotify have gone all over the net removing the older versions..

@rugalcs Installous apparently dropped support for older iOS versions last week. I'm gonna search for a different repository and add it to the tutorial tomorrow. In the meantime, search on Google for APPCAKE. It might still support iOS3, and does the same as Installlous.

You must have missed the "CREATE A DEVICE-SPECIFIC SPOTIFY ACCOUNT" link. It's the last one in the description. Don't forget you have to log in with your SPOTIFY username. This is a string of 10 numbers (looks like 1524198023 or something), NOT your Facebook e-mail adress!
