Ronald Coleman, easily one of the most handsome men to ever grace the silver screen, and perhaps to ever have lived. Always enjoyed watching him suffer in black and white

@My Lovely Dead Friends this has to be my very favorite tribute video of my Gable, EVER. This actually made me cry. I feel sad but it’s so beautifully done. Thank you for taking the time to do this. How special that we all love him, keep saying his name and remember him. A whole new generation of women, in love with the most handsome man who ever walked the planet! I love it. I’m 45, would love to know age ranges of the rest of the women here?

Will always love Tyrone Power -- a great talent (underrated bc of that gorgeous face -- but he was a true thespian by nature and bloodline), a US Marine pilot during WWII (enlisted to serve in the Pacific front, a hero), and a truly good and gentle man... What a talent! What a man!! 💞 Love and Peace 2u, always! 💞

Hi, just wanted to say - if you haven’t noticed - I’ve left Letterboxd. You were by far the person I interacted with the most on there over the years and I enjoyed our ‘back and forth’, and the teasing about Fred and Kirky! Hope you are well? I wish you the very best - Trolley AKA Kirk’s Number One fan, but my real name - if you remember - is Jez 🙂

Hey Troll. I didn't know. I haven't been super active myself there lately, partly due to dealing with a lot of health-related stuff, but I'm also trying to limit my time on there. I've actually considered quitting myself, but I just really want to have a place to log films. Any specific reason for leaving? Hope you're not done watching movies, though? You still have to rewatch "Cure" ;)

Long story, but a moderator removed my review of a Kirk/Burty film called Devil’s Disciple, with no explanation. I thought it was because of spoilers because the last person who commented said they were pissed as I’d put spoilers in my review. Don’t know if that’s true as I don’t remember it 🤷‍♂️Anyway, I assumed this person had reported me and this was why the review had been removed. I thought this was ridiculous so I asked Letterboxd for an explanation. Turns out they removed it not because of spoilers but because of the link I shared to the film on ‘ok’. Breaching copyright apparently. They said they’d reinstate the review if I removed the link and any other links I’d posted to other films that might breach someone’s copyright. As you know, I’ve posted thousands of reviews and I nearly always provide links. It would be a mammoth task to edit them all and remove the links. So I took the ‘nuclear’ option and just deactivated my account instead! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Makes my heart flutter, Can you imagine living in a time when stars of this caliber walked the earth, Coop and The King truly unforgettable legends. Im so grateful that we have countless motion pictures and clips from Hollywood's Golden Age, IMO the stars of that era are the only true stars of any era. ❤

Q.E.P.D. Tyrone Edmund Power Jr. Did you change the video, Anna? Did you make it more extensive on another channel? Those of us who admire this actor (there is no gender for admiration), thank you for sharing it. And about Ty, what to say? That he could play any role, but from what I've read he was kind, a good friend, a companion to his co-stars. I have not read anything bad about his life, and if there was, it was his life and he had the same right that we should all have, to live it as he wanted. Too bad he left so soon. RIP. Tyrone Edmund Power Jr.

W hat a fabulous video. Fred you were the best. No-one to touch you. The music was great too. Fred was the most graceful, talented dancer ever. He made all his ladies look amazing too. Those Hollywood musicals were fabulous. Nothing can compare with them today. The American Song book composers beyond compare. Thank you for posting.

I counted 145 outtakes. Some people are prolific; writers, composers, singers inventors. He was a prolific dancer / choreographer. How could one person create so many singular dance routines and so many independent moves/manuevers. Truely unique & creative ! Hollywood & Fred were a marriage made in heaven ! Such incredible CLASSEY; movies & music & sets & clothes & dancer (& his partners). If Fred had not been there at that time in Hollywood, I would guess 30 maybe 40 of those productions would have never gotten to the big screen. SYNERGY, the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts ! Not to take anything from all the other talented team & artists who created these Masterpieces but I suspect Fred was the special element that created the amazing SYNERGY ! THANK YOU, SO, SO, VERY MUCH, MR. FRED ASTAIRE ! ! !
