The majority of players wanted to make it easier to make Day 2. The Alex situation is just a “top player” complaint, but I think Alex was 3-2-0 at round 5, so it makes sense that he didn’t place higher.

@@Nugget6799 Ceruledge can do that damage each turn after the first one effortlessly, Raging Bolt has to set up again each time and relies on sada's to actually attack from empty.

I want to see how Pikachu performs with Lost Box since in my case I have been facing against decks with low hp pokemon and one prize pokemon. And discarding 3 energy for hitting 300 when the pokemon has less than 200 hp is kinda overwhelming

Joltik can get knocked by dragapult and greninja. Terapagos can attach all three of Pikachu exs energy and can be a good target for glass trumpet and has a decent 100 attack. Joltik isn't a bad option though especially if you are running a galvantula in the deck

@ColossusBall to linear. Easy to counter. High roll deck. Polarizing matchups. It can be good in the right meta. I think it's too wide open right now for it.

stall decks will always be meta because it can still beat most decks who dont draw well into their counters. for example the most recent regional had 3 iron thorns and 2 stall decks in the top 16

You'd need both 1 ofs energy discarded and a magneton to use Pikachu in that case. It's likely one might get prized, and then you're running a complete brick. It's not worth it imo especially because he's not hitting 330.

Not snobs. Made an incorrect read on the meta. Caleb’s list had 4 charm which made the deck different than other bolt decks.

I think y'all are underselling Henry Chao's build of Gardevoir a little bit. It has the speed to keep up with Terapagos with the rare candy and secret box, and it still retains its generally strong matchup spread. It will do better at Louisville than you think.

It is so consistent that it makes sense to play. Zard isn’t a bad match up at all with Briar. Lugia is rough and terapagos is over rated cos Tord played it.

Raging Bolt has been my bane at locals recently. My last 2 losses against it both lasted 3 turns. Literally just hits me for 280 three turns in a row GG. I only get 2 turns that I can attack and I can't win in 2 attacks with Lugia. I will Iono them to 2 cards the turn I go down to 2 prizes, but then with Ninja, Fez, etc they always find the damn Sada and always win that turn. I setup absolutely perfect but it doesn't even matter. 3 turns, 3 attacks, 6 prizes. Stupid broken deck. I recently won a 50 person league cup with a top 8 cut - what was my one loss of the day during swiss? Raging Bolt...in 3 turns...lol
