Had to rebuild the engine in the Viper first. SN66 next, then the BOSS408

How's the mustang going now?

408W with Cleveland heads, Vortech supercharger, Trickflow stage 2 cam, custom headers with Magnaflow 3" stainless exhaust, Viper T56, 03 Cobra IRS, Konis all around.

@Goldiney I paid about $600 for the Vortech head unit, I made my own brackets. It's a blow-through carb setup, I built the carb for blow through myself. I have a wide-band O2 for tuning.

@sweetdream5866 No worries, it's not done. I've been in Iraq and Afghanistan since October 2010, haven't been home since, will finish it when I get home.

@latamud wow 2 irs cars. i was planning on doing an full drivetrain swap from a lincoln mark, but my space issues are complicating my build. how much will the pj rims run?, their so rare i think i just might get the heritage 5 spokes, but if i could find some pj at a good price i would get them.

@andrestnt yes, I have 2 set s of Saleen rims, the PJ and the Dan Gurneys. I'm building 2 66's with IRS and Supercharged with 6 speed.

@oldawgnewtrikz I'm building another flared, supercharged IRS 66 Mustang. I have a theme for both.

pwkid, take a wild guess. $400 for the car, $600 supercharger, $400 IRS, $400 koni shocks, $50 junk yard fenders, $1275 Viper 6 speed, $200 lakewood bellhousing, $400 351C heads, etc. The idea is to collect used parts and build a beast on a budget. I saved by building it myself and making/designing my owm adapters.

Haha, thanks cooper. I blew the clutch master, parked the car and have been in Iraq since November. As soon as I get home I'll fix it and take it out. I did some figure 8's in a parking lot the last night I drove it but no video, was a spontaneous moment.

sick...I've seen the foxbodies done, even thought about it myself while building the '91 LX I have...more cutting and welding than I could handle right now in my modest garage. Good luck with this beast!
