Can you feel the fear comes out from his eyes and fingers on the guitar? The guitar itself is also nervous because of the pressure on it, the pressure of success or trying to play something good. This makes me feel sad...

Just an incredible player . I saw him play live only once after having heard of him for years prior to seeing him in 2017. He had a different drummer & bass player then , but He himself still killed it . Never saw such intensity since SRV in 1983 a couple decades before . Thanks for posting this one..👍

How the fuck do you abuse the 1st 2nd and 3rd strings and how he bends those mfers and not break them with as heavy and violent of a right hand as he uses on them?!?!?! Please someone explain this. Idc what nut or tuning machines or gear he uses... That is purely remarkable to see. My god hes a savage from the gods

Holy shit… amazing. Clapton and friends don’t want this guy showing up at their concert. He would show them all up.

Philip Sayce played Cross Roads once. So, Clapton featured him. Sayce isn't taking off because the blues is a dying genre. Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray and a dozen or so others are pretty much the end of a begone era. Anyway, if you like Jazz with some blues inflections try Joyce Cooling, she's great.

This guy is phenomenal, way to good not to be playing in front of thousands, I prefer him and his playing over Stevie Ray any day, Stevie was amazing as well but because of Davie Bowie became a international Star. Philip Sayce is one gifted mofo that's for damn sure .

Having seen Phillip live here in Southern California at The Julian Blues festival ( sadly defunct now) all I can say is “ He’s the REAL DEAL” !! Blew us all away that day……. I have the T -shirt from that year (2018) and on the back of it Phillip is walking away , Strat over his shoulder , into the Sunset. It’s one of my favorites. Too Bad Rob Bower doesn’t do that venue anymore. Here’s to 18 years that he did!! 👍👍
