I am involved with a potential scammer now, he wants a surprise party for his wife, and wants to pay in full, and he said his secretary mistakenly included the party planners fee on my Cashier's check, and I am to pay the planner on day of the event. I have asked several times for a phone call, and he texted, I will call later, which never happens. I tried calling him, but no answer. I then said if I can't talk to you, give me the party planner's number so I can get info from them. He did send me a number, but again he could also be involved in the scam. The check is coming certified mail, and it is only a couple weeks from the event date, and my bank will cash, but after it goes through the originating bank there will most likely be insufficient funds. I need to give him the bad news that I have discovered him as a scammer.

I had been with The Knot for many years. One day I noticed they raised my rate by almost 30%. Months had gone by and I hadn't notice. When I confronted them about it they stated they would get me back to my original rate if I stayed and so I agreed. Come to find out a couple months later without notice they deleted my account. They stated I never agreed to the terms even though I had the emails to prove it. I had tons of reviews which have now gone to waste. Their customer service around this issue was terrible.

Crate connect was good until they removed all of the oldies.

Yes, I've had more scammer clients (i don't fall for it) than actual clients. It's frustrating. I don't trust any potential client now. I'm a micro dj business and have literally gone to word of mouth for a while to limit my exposure to these scammers. If you don't tell me who referred you, I'm calling bullshit. Any advice for getting over this and finding legit clients?

Are you still using the Wedding Pro services 4 years later?

A couple of reasons why to buy from ADJ over direct from Jina. One, you get a two year warranty. Two, fixture profiles are going to be easier to find and the website grammar is terrible and specifications are often grossly inflated on almost all of these direct from China companies. Third, the QA is going to often times be better from ADJ. Direct from China Companies are notorious for using different LED's and power supplies so you may not getting the same performance from a bunch of the same model. The Stryker models are a little on the high side, but if you are resourceful enough to go direct from China you can get a deal from an ADJ dealer. The ADJ fixtures are being used more professionally now and have brand recognition, plus they have a lot of Elation technology.

Question, just got this light from shehds. Set it to auto it runs for few seconds and restarts, it does it in random and sound. I am thinking bad light. I am waiting for tech support to reach back out to me. Am I on the right track.

Direct Music Service sucks, their music is scattered, there's no markers when you've already listened to a track or downloaded, this is extremely frustrating, because you won't know if you already have on your drive or even listened to, DJ City does both and far cheaper, they do NOT have sub genres, only very Broad genres, for example, if you wanted deep house, you would only have 1 choice which is "EDM" but if you wanted Tech house, you would again only have 1 choice..."EDM" and there's only like 8-10 genres...thats crazy, other DJ pools I use have at least 50 -100 genres to choose from, its much more tailored and specific with many other DJ pools, but certainly not with DMS, also there still using the old school download method, where it takes a 5- 15 seconds to download, other DJ pools use something different that allows instantaneous downloads, I mean truly instantaneous. One positive is they do have a very large collection of oldies and classics ( mostly originals) not edits or remixes. I could honestly look past many of these flaws IF they had good music, but I cannot say that, most of their EDM are originals, and whatever remixes, edits, mashups you do find are very boring or basic, iv found way more Gems on other platforms, and the irony is this one of THE MOST expensive DJ pools out there... make it make sense. I'm writing this on October 5 2024, hope this helps someone considering DMS ( Direct Music Service ) because I feel like I just wasted $65

before I signed for WW and the knot I had them place a month tryout to where I could cancel. The leads were spam and full of scammers. Seeing no good results I gave them my notice to stop however they were planning on billing me anyway. Fortunately, I gave them a virtual card to where I could turn off the payments. This site just gathers your information, sells it to the market, and then charges you monthly for it.
