28. Key holder runaway That's sometimes necessary if everyone blocks the key exit with their bodies in a vain attempt to take the key resulting in a stalemate. Running backward off screen gets them to get out of the way to come after me then I make a run for the door and jump over their heads to unlock it. 😊

26 (0:01). 27 (0:15). Now this is what an actual troll looks like in a well excecuted troll level. 28 (0:52). 29 (1:10). 30 (1:19). 31 (1:31). 32 (1:45). 33 (1:58). 34 (2:12). 35 (2:28). 36 (2:40). 37 (2:56). 38 (3:08). 39 (3:25). 40 (3:47). 41 (3:59). 42 (4:11). 43 (4:26). 44 (4:41). 45 (5:06). 46 (5:17). 47 (5:33). 48 (5:52). 49 (6:14). By far the worst application of the hidden block that Dougy has suggested. People who put in hidden blocks that are mandatory to find in order to progress in the level, mess with the player in bullshit ways, or are used to hide dev routes/ or items so the creator can bypass the requirement of having to beat their own level in order to upload it onto course world deserve to have their levels repeatedly & mercilessly boo'd into the ground. If your going to use a hidden block in your levels, 1. Dont use it to hide any dev related shennanagins, 2. Dont make finding the hidden block mandatory for level completion, 3. Make sure your hidden blocks cant lead to the player being injured/ or killed 4. Make sure there is some form of hint given to the player of the location of a potential hidden block whether it'd be through ground decorations, dotted line blocks, or anything else you can come up with. 50 (6:33).

1 (0:01). Hot Garbage (don't do this if you don't want your levels to get boo'd) 2 (0:15). NEVER Intentionally softlock the player for any reason. Trolls can be fun to play/work with in the right level types but this is just a cheap haha I got ya sucker troll that will just infuriate the player. 3 (0:38). NEVER KILL THE PLAYER FROM THE START OF THE LEVEL!! Also, never use this mechanic to hide enimies or obstacles that can hurt/ kill mario as it'll cause an unfair death where the player was'nt at fault. Though using the P-switch to hide/block off level assests could make for an interesting application of the item when done correctly. Try experimenting with this mechanic for your levels and see what good use u can get from the P-switch. 4 (1:01). This is just a cheap way to kill the player. At least give them some time to react. Wouldn't reccommend putting enemies into question mark, brick, or hidden blocks 5 (1:21). Never deliberatly mislead the player when it comes to blind jumps (doing this will most likely result in players rage quitting your level & possibly booing it). 6 (1:42). The way Dougy uses this setup is just flatout Hot Garbage. Though this setup could be potential speedrun level where you will have to spin jump onto piranna plants in order to progress in the lvl. Never intetionally try to kill the player at the very start of the level. 7 (1:57). Same feedback as the P-Switch Troll (section 3) (0:38) but for the on-off switches 8 (2:18). The 1st decent apllication of level design shown in the video. Well done Dougy. 9 (2:50). Same feedback as the Hidden Block Softlock Pit (Section 2) (0:15) 10 (3:08). Another form of decent level design when done right. This could be used to prevent cheese in your levels. I would recommend having a way for Mario to take damage in order fo prevent any potential softlocks. 11 (3:35). Same feedback as the invisible block pit that knocks you into the pit (Section 1) (0:01) 12 (3:55). Same feedback as the misleading arrow (section 5) (1:21) 13 (4:17). Idk 14 (4:29). Same feedback as the invisible block that knocks you into the pit (Section 1) (0:01) 15 (4:58). When done right this cold be used for some fun and interesting levels. 16 (5:22). Never use Dev anything. If you cant get through the level yourself with no strings attatched then your level does'nt deserve to be on Course World. 17 (5:54). Idk 18 (6:15). Same feedback as the Hidden Block Softlock Pit (Section 2) (0:15) 19 (6:37). Idk 20 (7:00). Same feedback as the invisible block pit that knocks you into the pit (Section 1) (0:01) 21 (7:41). Same feedback as the misleading arrow (section 5) (1:21) 22 (7:58). While using Bill blasters as containers can open up lots of potential for level designs, this is a terrible way to use them (tho enemies in bill blasters can work when in the hands of good level creators) 23 (8:11). This could be used in a well designed troll level. 24 (8:34). Same feedback as the lava rift blockade (Section 23) (8:35) 25 (9:42). Same feedback as the invisible block pit that knocks you into the pit (Section 1) (0:01)

They should have at least been replaced with computer players controlling their characters. They could have done this since single player has Octoling A.I. programmed into it. Why they didn't do this is beyond me. Also, _SMASH BROS._ does that, so why can't this game do it?
