I always thought this was so beautiful! Someone I follow on Instagram posted an ad for the original showing of this which apparently came right after the Garfield Christmas special and I had forgotten about this one! The art forms and the music here are just absolutely beautiful!

Wil Vinton and Jim Henson had sort of similar off-kilter senses of humor. Kind of sad that their media were so different that they couldn't ever collaborate on a project-it would have been classic.

Thank you for uploading more of Michele’s reels, she has done some outstanding performances over the years. I never even knew she was in The Goonies, and yet I’ve seen the scene with the lady crossing the street during the police chase many times. Not to mention, once seeing the deleted scene. If you don’t mind me asking, do you know if Michele has a favorite character out of all the ones she played? Mine are Cecille and Wilshire Pig. Though, I’m leaning towards Cecille.

@@jsd-eh6lw I’m not sure which is her favorite….I would imagine Cecille or Wilshire Pig.

@@ClaymationKid Well, if that's the case, then great minds think alike! I honestly had a feeling Cecille may be considered a choice. After all, who doesn't love Cecille?

I saw this on HBO in 1980. All I remembered was the people on the planets. ...i have now watched it 3 times and still have no idea what the moral of the story is. I mean ... Did the little fella die and is the planet with the flower supposed to be heaven?

Weird how closely I looked this video up to you. I'm discussing claymation with a buddy. But yeah we had this one on a Home Tape too and I would watch it many times through out the year. This song was probably my favorite.

4:20 FUN FACT: The poodle figures that Teresa used to demonstrate her work of stop-motion animation were in the Sesame Street segment (and one of Teresa’s works of animation), “I’m Gonna Get to You”, performed by Cecille the ball. By the way, is there any behind-the-scenes footage of it? Not Michele Mariana performing the song, I know you uploaded that already. I mean, Teresa doing the animation for the segment?
