I had difficulty with this boss when I first met it mostly because it is resistant to a large amount of weapons across a large amount of it's body, it has a decent amount of health, and a few of it's attacks hit like a truck for that area. My suggestions if you still are having trouble are as follows: 1. You should lower your equip load down to medium so you can roll better. 2. Make sure you sprint around the beast in a circular direction when it is using the attack where it starts pulling spikes out of the ground. (you shouldn't be able to be hit if you do it right) 3. Move perpendicular to the charge attack and count three charges. (It will always do three back and forth) You can get one jump attack or sprint attack in after the third one. 4. Most of all the other attacks you want to dodge backwards. 5. Be patient and if you continue to use colossal weapons go for one hit before looking to dodge. (You wont have many openings to safely hit two attacks unless you get a stance break) 6. There is a weaker field boss Fallingstar Beast on the right side of the stairway into the outskirts of Lyndell that has most of the moveset but doesn't hit as hard that you could practice on. One last thing, you can just bypass this boss if you stick to the outer edge of the arena you find it in. Unless you want the weapon it drops there isn't a large need for you to try to beat it. If this is a serious question then he has to find Sam Blackwell's Bunker and do the quests for it. Go to the Charleston Harold (the press building) and find and office with some holotapes, a wall safe, and a piece of paper. Should give the quest you need for access into that area.
