🎉 that’s my favorite thrift store in the Bay! I always check out thrift stores whenever im anywhere! And this place is hard to beat. I do miss the days when it wasn’t so busy and their pricing was lower…but still a favorite place to visit. I made a couple videos including eco but didn’t say the name lol 😂 but Im im still learning how to make videos and trying to get over my awkwardness and be more consistent haha Btw i miss the where house that was in front! It was so messy but my favorite chair was bought there for $5! Haha

In glad you share the memories with me of what this used to be! This was a real community thrift store back in the day. They had changing rooms, bathrooms, no self check out! Kmart was across the street and made it there longer than most before shutting down. When my grandma and I went here in the 2010s it was overflowing in every category I found everything I ever wanted and more.

@ yes i remember those days! It was addicting! I had a job in industrial Hayward and took Mission home so I would go almost daily back then! I was great for yarn! Were you in Hayward when Generations was on mission? I was talking to someone and we thought maybe they were the same store, just changed names!

What a surprise to find this video ! I was checking for photos to remind me of this place I knew from the 80's & 90's. I lived there briefly but always seemed to know someone there to visit. It was a low income neighborhood but great for ocean loving people, with salty air and when the tide was high on the Bay side there were some good views, like the one from my friend's little house right on the water. When there was snow on the inland mountains sometimes it looked post card - beautiful !

Picky Picky Picky! used to be on the corner next to the theater, where the pizza place with the Statue of Liberty is. And the only pizza place over there was the Red Baron restaurant directly across from the theater. I moved away from home 31 years ago, these little videos are fun to watch.

Thank you! It's been so fun traveling around at my pace in these small towns. Only time I had a rush was the Chandelier Tree because everyone wants to keep driving through it over and over.

As I explore and travel around I find that the local thrift and antique shops can tell me a lot about the type of people who live in the area. It's a mix of Work Trips that take me to beautiful places, revisiting childhood weekend trip spots my parents took me to and pure adventure. I have always loved learning the history about places and creating my own adventure no matter where I am. If you ever need advice on where to go I'm an open book of knowledge.

Yay we made it to Day 15! Resorts World in Las Vegas is beautiful and has all the amenities you'd want and more from a hotel. I felt like I was going through a Hotel Resort museum collection with how clean the inside of the shopping/food/casino area was.

Day 14! Circus Circus Las Vegas may be one of the last kid friendly, 80's-90's themed decor left on the Las Vegas Strip but it's definitely not the least worth visiting. While most may not look twice here, families and those on a budget use this place as a way to be on the strip without paying strip prices. There isn't much luxury shopping within their stores but you can definitely pick up your postcards and t-shirts without having to leave the property. During the hot summer days they also have a water park located outside of the hotel. Thanks for watching the adventure!

So cool! I've stayed at the Hilton across the street and saw Fontaine Bleu when it was just a huge metal frame. I also, remember the water park that was there before.

Looks like the Hilton side of the strip is getting a whole facelift. Even the convention center itself. I wish I had a chance to visit the water park before it closed.

I'm here for Day 13! I made it across the street to the bright blue lit hotel aka the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. I walked around the hotel, got some food and explored the Ice Rink on the rooftop. What an adventure!
