As tested many times with dyno, air intakes almost never actually give any performance, most of the ones that say they do, make it worse.

Cool product but why not add the needed 3 studs on the manifold. Since the 3.5 are notorious for exhaust manifold leak and warping. The oem manifold comes with 8studs but there is a company who corrected the issue by adding the additional 3 studs needed to fight this warping / manifold leaks so instead of the oem 8 mounting studs BDD. Manufactures a manifold that uses 11studs which are already in the engine block that is not used idk why ford did that but I’m glad a 3rd party company came out with a solution to fix this issue.

What kind of intercooler pipes are those? I'm looking for a chrome upgrade but I read somewhere that the C&L CAI is not compatible with aftermarket charge pipes.

An important tip they forgot to mention in the video. Remove the tyre as well, if not the installation is nearly impossible.

Even though this video is 3 years old, it is by far the best review of Ron Fellow. Things may have change in that amount of time, but still gives a great overview of what to expect. Many thanks!

As soon as you said pedal commander, you lost me. Check engine light soon enough with that pos. Get banks pedal monster if you want something reliable.

I wouldn't recommend Hawk HPS to anybody doing a track day with base model brakes. My own car with 200tw tyres, stock power, usually gets temps around 1000-1100F. HPS work to around 700F. Hawk have great temp comparisons on their site.

2023 TRD Pro here, paid too much, couldn't be happier. No speeding tickets any more lol. Only think I need is a hard tonneau cover, I'm set. So glad I pulled the trigger on a 2023 since the 2024 TRD Pro are useless for passengers with those stupid shock seats.

Sprint Booster is also great! It radically changes the performance and once you set your happy place you can disconnect the (small) controller and it will keep your setting.

Had the AFE module for a 2.7 Bronco. Power seemed good but then the cross traffic alert would alarm. Shortly after that I would lose power and had to use the bypass module to run again. Sent unit back to AFE. Had to constantly contact them for updates. 3 to 4 weeks later, I finally got the unit back. It was worse than ever. They asked me to return it to them again saying they had rebuilt everything in it and wanted to check the harness to see if there was something wrong with it. I had sent it to them, at my expense, and now they wanted it again. They had the harness the first time I sent it to them. I decided to return it for a refund. Bought a JB4 and have had no problems.

Decent info. Thanks for posting. A few comments and none meant to minimize the value you've provided in the content. You should have covered the replacement of the stock radiator and it's thermostat (and the preventive replacement of the electronic water pump). The stock radiator is plastic end capped and fails often, and its a weak link in the cooling of the N54. While you're mentioning that the mickey-mouse flange, the radiator top tube and the overflow container should be mentioned for preventive replacement. The oil cooler at the last minute should have been given a little more time to cover what's needed to adapt the cooler to the oil filter housing. Meth and DI are cool but nothing beats a better source of fuel, so a LPFP is nearly essential with 400+ HP builds.

Just FYI , the gen 2 manifolds have 9 stud holes as gen 1 have 8 ,noise usually happens when one of the manifold studs break ,99% of the time it will be the one closest to the firewall, had both mine replaced and no issues since, hope this helps , thanks
