Good music absolutely transends the language barrier. All the Stray Kids members can speak English well, 5 fluently, so they use it a lot in their songs and focus on pronunciation. The lyrics for all their tracks are often so deep and meaningful, they are genius wordsmiths and use whichever languages' word fits the verse best or has a clever double meaning. They write the lyrics and produce the music themselves, since 14yrs old. As a 47yr old, what I like about them is that they don't have explicit lyrics or MVs, random violence or many guns, or bikini clad girls! These days that's pretty refreshingly different. Here are some full English songs you might like; Night, Falling Up, Domino (none of these have an MV, so use color coded lyric vids) and Lose My Breath (either feat. Charlie Puth or the Stray Kids only version, both have MVs). Felix has another English solo called Deep End, where he shows more of his vocal range and he does his own stacked background harmonizing.

Yes! As a 56 yo new STAY I would like to congratulate you on joining the family. I enjoy all kinds of music and visual experiences and have learned that having a large background of music to pull from is a benefit when listening to Stray Kids - they do a lot of their own spins of 80s, 90s and 00 music and are always experimenting. Every SKZ song is different - Cheese is nothing like Christmas EvEl, is nothing like God's Menu, is nothing like Giant or Hellevator or ... but they are good versions of whatever they are - very enjoyable. I'm sure you already know that froim listening to the music, so it's no surprise. You'll probably really enjoy the videos - there are some that are small movies telling a story and soem that are just wild rides of visuals that always relate to the lyrics somehow and add an extra layer of meaning. I always watch each video at least three times so I can pay attention to different elements each time, while also enjoying the overall vibe. They are known tobe the masters of editing and effects, and have been able to surround themselves with leaders in the industry that seem to be able to work magic. The video for Case 143 is one such, as is Giant, Walking on Water, Maniac, and Thunderous. There's a lot there and I look forward to seeing your opinions on what they do. Yes, this was a beautiful video of the song - Felix under water, climbing towards the surface - the wings allowing him to take flight - the chains on his boots holding him back - the flower - the woods - the changes in lighting putting him in shadow or bringing him into the light ... Layers and layers.

I'm the number 1 listener to plot in you (atleast for this year) this band is lovely for the music videos, the artist behind it was trying to bring attention to issues with bullfighting, the song was more pointing towards the shittyness of the current world. Just hearing peoples cry for help but they aren't waking up to what it killing them type beat. Anyways lovely reaction, if the harsh vocals aren't for you and you want to continue listening to the plot in you. Patty is a german artist who play the Hurdy Gurdy, which is a very mediveal instrumen, thats maybe also the reason you were eminded of Blackmores Night, since they also played a lot medieval folk. Rithcie Blackmore was btw. first in Deep Purple and later he founded Rainbow. You should listen to the album "Rising" from Rainbow, its a real masterpiece. Another great track on the album is Death Is Not A Costume. It is a fantastic song. The whole album is amazing and a great comeback album. Sacrifice Of The Mass is a PERFECT way to end the album. Looking forward to Chapter 2 when it comes out. The 3 other music videos are great as well. As Sick As The Secrets Within, Raise The Red Flag, and Sacrilegious are 3 other videos he put out prior to the album release
