I just bought a Fluke 87V MAX DMM, and wanted to see what the LoPass filter function does. Great video and easy to understand. I install VFD's frequently (no pun intended), so this function will be great to have. This 87V MAX is a beast, and probably the last meter I'll ever buy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I stumbled upon this video today and I am wondering if this guy would also pick up refrigerant leaks.. I would imagine so.. because it's picking up vibrations not particulates I know that most of the time refrigerant leaks are very miniscule.. either way this thing seems awesome..

@@timothycarnill1992 it can but they typically have to be gushers. If you have empty lines and can pressurize with plant air it's your best hope. This application is not a home run for this tool.

Agreed with your recommendation of the M12’s over the M18’s. I have both, but only use my M18’s when I need them. And the only downside of the M12’s is the thick grip, but the light weight and battery compactness more than makes up for it. 👍

Definitely going to pick me up one. Even though I spent $800ish on my fluke meter. The $120ish price tag on a little amp only clamp is a rough one to swallow for sure. But the size alone will be worth it to me. To clean up my tool bag. And get rid of the fluke clamp with its long cable to plug into the meter. It’ll take less space an not need to be plugged in an the extra space will be great
