Cool video!! Just to say, Anne Frank was a very good writer, but the 'formal' thing is not so strong in Dutch (the original language). Young girl's books from that age have a very similar style. Her father admitted to editing some things (and she herself edited it, towards the end she decided she wanted to publish her diary and she started to change things. I also think the editing by the father is justified, in the end it is his murdered family and some things are just meant to stay private. Like if your wife is murdered, would you want all your teenage daughter's thoughts about her broadcasted to everyone (and we all know that teenagers are not always the nicest to their parents)? It doesn't mean he was changing things to seem 'the hero' imo :)
