What a find. Oarai looks wonderful. You are right. We call mentai pollock. ko is a diminutive ending. Mentaiko is the tie of pollick. It is often spicy called karashi mentaiko. I really like it. Never had it in ice cream! Al Y.

Nice video! we will be there in January and I have a couple of questions: All are braces accessible for all rooms or some are reserved to some villas? How's the conditions when there is high tide? And finally, is there many people coming onto the island from outside organised tours and if so does it get noisy? An opinion from someone who stayed there and experienced in person would be very helpful.

All the beach’s are public. They are accessible from any villa but at high tide you can’t walk around to any beach. On the weekends the locals might come to party on the beach. They won’t come up to your villa. They play music but are happy if you join them. Most of the time it is very quiet. No one visits that is not a guest. We would return in a heart beat.
