Thank you very much for sharing! I am following the example using HEC-HMS 4.12, however, an error occurs when delineating the watershed: "Error 46503 An error occurred during delineation. Contact HEC for assistance." Could you suggest how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Hey there. You can rename the "Value" easier. Instead of doing doom clicking --> Click once to mark --> "F2" ... and voíla simple renaming (works fine in file Explorer and other dialogues). Greets from Berlin.

2:32 - I've been working at a firm for the last year that specializes in map modeling - this point is super important because 1 - building out a map for a client is a system, every single cog matters, fuck up the name of a map and that shit could cost you or your firm a LOT. 2 - everything in map making has a larger discipline behind it that goes back very very far. The digital systems are new, but you could literally write a textbook on naming maps lol.

Very good video, thank you. However, would you be able to explain the example for specific weight in English units. What is the calculation and final units?
@HydroMohsen2 ай бұрын
Specific weight (denoted as 𝛾) is defined as the weight of a substance per unit volume. W is the weight of the substance (pounds, lb), and V is the volume of the substance (cubic feet, ft³). The units of specific weight in this example are pounds per cubic foot (lb/ft³), which is standard in English units.
