his video is testament that rock 'n roll can kill you… These people are lucky to be alive. All the drugs the sexual diseases all the moral bankruptcy these people went through it's amazing there alive… There the worse off for it you can tell just by looking at them

Kim Fowley lol. One of my favorite rock and roll memories is from back in 2004 at the Rockaround Festival in Las Vegas, when Sky Saxon punched Kim Fowley in the face. It had something to do with some ancient beef over a girl from way back when. I never knew Sky was even capable of such things. 🤣

Too many of their songs sounded the same to me "Pushing to hard" was their best song There were lots of better bands The Music Machine, We the People C A Quintet There was a few bands who had some great songs but they weren't consistent Like the Sonics Have to be the godfathers of Garage playing the witch in 61 must have been mind blowing The Chocolate watch band The Standells, the Misunderstood , Love had some great songs Electric Prunes had their moments. There were so many great singles made in the 60's by young kids trying to copy the Stones and Beatles They were miles better then them[ I still don't like one song by the stones] but few of them went on to make an album All that tallent lost Anyway i wouldn't mind watching the doc just to catch the vibe Is it available on dvd or is anyone showing it online ?

These guys were definitely not hippie, dippy material. And don’t forget around that same time in New York the velvet underground was being formed. Strawberry Fields forever.

The only comparison they made was the fact that they started out playing in the garage.

"Plookin too hard on me", Frank Zappa's reference to this song on his album Joe's Garage

Ha. I just posted this. I tell my fellow FZ fans this obvious reference and they say I'm nuts.
@76mothersofinvention11 ай бұрын
@@lefkytheshin, On the song Green Rosetta from same album Frank says "Rang Tang Ding Dong, I am the Japanese Sandman". THERE IS A GREAT 50's song by the Cellos of the same name! Check it out. Frank is throwing out these references to his own past musical experiences and it's up to the listener to make the connection.

@@Shikta-poobah67 I think that Captain Beefheart and the Magic band would be an example of music that has a lot of flavor of that era but is more meticulously arranged and played. .. . A lot of the songs from Safe as Milk. . . Invented the category so I concede that it is basically bs

Hey friends ! I've got on DVD, the Seeds LIVE in 1989, the return of the original Seeds : " The Seeds LIVE - From the underground Golden Vaults of the S.S.S. video library. Is someone interesting to get this video for making a remastering in studio because the sound need to be remastered. This video has been filmed with a cellular by Marianna Dapello but the sound is bad, it needs to be remastered.
