how do you disable the camera side menus when you want to record in OBS that shows the cameras battery life, AWB, the fps, the time ? It's on both sides

As for the m50. Atleast two of these points could’ve gone to the capture card… all you had to do was press INFO and the hdmi is clean…. Also that’s if you’re going to remain in focus and won’t need autofocus. That will have to be off as well with the capture card method to get rid of the focus box. Other than that… capture card should’ve won because the frame rate, image quality even the set up is better than eos webcam utility! It’s crap…. Canon should be ashamed of themselves for ever making someone pay for a pro version which is just as crappy as the free version. Only it unlocks 1080p 60. But a crappy version of it! It boasts features like wireless and multi camera recognition and set up within the app. Even now it allows for your cameras to outright be recognized as individual usb sources within obs or other softwares, But they are HORRIBLE. Choppy and doesn’t look good. their UI is also horrible. Even in the website. I love canon I have 3 cameras which I use from them, but the downfall is their software! It holds canon back tremendously.

The webcam utility even the subscription is CRAP………

hi i'm hoping you can help. I'm wanting to do streams where i can record everything in one go like on look or logitech capture. But the problem i have is i want to have a recording of myself in the bottom left, i then want the screen displayed that i'm looking at. But the big problem i have is i also want to display a chat section only in the bottom right. is there a way to do this please?

u dont need capture card or canon utility to use a canon like a web cam, you could activate calls in livestream in the camera settings and camera will be be reconignized in obs settings. At my r10 works floweless. The minus is u cant rechearge battery simultaneously on usb port.
