Bichin and neato and underrated airplane ✈️ that deserves a better reputation for commercial airline passenger jet aircraft in its Era 1970's-2010's A great piece of art the mcdonnell douglas DC-10's deserves more credit and should've been equally as good as its direct US competitors Boeing and Lockheed aerospace companie.

My Dad used to drive similar to this model. He drove for what was known as BI-State back in the day in the St. Louis, Mo., area. I rode the bus with him as a kid, and man let me tell you this video brought back so many memories! I hold a CDL as well. Miss you POP! Thank you for this! 😢😊

My great uncle drove these type of busses from 1969 to 70 when he drove for the San Francisco Municipal Railway . Muni brought 370 of these "fishbowl " buses between those years and rebuilt 150 that were still road worthy between 1982 and 1985 . The rebuilt fleet was retired in 1995 and only a few of these remain owned by private collectors who actually drove these .

My father was a bus driver in the 60's. As a kid I rode with him a lot. After he retired, I drove for the same company (Liberty Lines N.Y.). For 4yrs, he rode with me. Same buses - same sounds. Thanx for the ride!

Pan American and 747 were similar to what Emirates and the A380 are today. Both are pioneers and trail blazers in aviation. Opening up mass tarvel air travel for all.

The DC-9 is one of the longest-lived designs in the history of commercial aviation; from the original "Nine" to the MD-80, MD-90 and Boeing 717.

Thank you for that ride down memory lane. When I first started riding back in the 90s the Grand Rapids transit system here in Michigan had a newer generation of "Fishbowl" busses but they had the same trainee with the 6V71 Detroit diesels and in the case of the 40 foot busses the 8V71 engines. The sound of those screaming Jimmy engines is nostalgic. They don't make them like that anymore.
