... I don't thing it makes sense to use loctite for the screws because you need to remove the bash plate to change the oil filter regularly ...

That is true and maybe it's an overkill. But better than loosing some bolts in the bush. Time will tell if it's an issue (by other riders who don't use it). Also, I can't confirm but I think I could change the oil filter without removing the bash plate, or at least just remove some bolts to move it just out of the way.

You don’t want to follow this method, because the space is very small. I tried it that took me over a hour cannot put the spring back to hold the bulb. It is much easier just take off the little windshield and remove the back screw, then tilt the headlight; you will get FULL access to the headlight to remove and replace the light bulb.

It has it. It's not enabled yet on my one but CFMOTO are rolling out the updates so it can do it in Australia and I suspect globally. Some countries have the update right now, I should have it on mine by Jan 2025.

Is the offline maps specific to Google maps, if I have offline maps in Gaia on my phone, will that work.?

Yes, offline maps is essentially any app installed that supports it. So gaia does work offline once the maps are download. Another way to think of it is it's just like using a phone when it's set to flight mode.

Just acquired a gt650r and fi light is on engine is spluttering on idle and at low revs then as soon as its over 4krpm she’s away .. but tried to pull a code up but it only shows “No Er” any help please ?

Yes, remove the SD card that has the files on it. Or use google drive when connected to wifi to transfer the video files to the cloud. Or wifi file transfer is another good app you can use to copy the files from the device over your own wifi.

Seems pretty normal on mine. The suspension is fully adjustable so theirs probably could easily be fixed

Ridden through water and also washed the bike with a hose. Both fill the tubes with water. The water in the video is from the bike being washed.

Hi, Very helpful video. Just to clarify, if I'm only installing the SHAD side cases, and not the rear rack or grab handles, I won't require the Inner Support Kit. Is that correct? I have the CTX700 naked.

The shad cases require the inner support kit as that is how the rails for the panniers attach to the bike. The naked versions do not come with the inner support kit so you will need to get it.

What are the good tips have you got made I like your filter system it's rather complicated I use a z filter straight from my fermenter 15 liter fermenter into a 15 liter fermenter and then through a double Tower filter but I'm open for recipes I like the flavoured stuff chocolate rum red skin vodka Skittles vodka any more tips mate

The coffee filters will slow your flow rate down you're better off using cat air filter paper you get a much better effect

Thanks Outie, good review! I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t seem to get those servo station air hoses in a straight enough line to the valve due the cross over of the spokes to get it to seal on the stem. What’s the solution… put a brass elbow permanently on both valves?

You could, or get an elbow bend one that screws on to your valve and then inflate the tyre. Then remove it so it doesn't come off, and put your valve cap back on like normal. I've been driving in and around Toowoomba for 35 years, this is a great example (and video) of the god awful drivers we put up with daily. I have been knocked off my bike several times over the last few years, by people like the guy that pulled out on you on Bridge Street Maccas. You know, the drivers that will wait until you are right on top of them before they pull out and take you out. At least you saw that guy and you avoided him. Cheers for the video, I've sub'd and left a like too. Have a good one mate and stay safe riding around Toowoomba.
