Amazing Explanation!!!! Thanks!.... BTW I need to trim a little off the top of a shaker door. What tooth count should I use and type of paint... They came white from the factory.... Super Thanks in advance.
@alexandrialatulippe2 ай бұрын
For cutting a shaker door the more teeth the better and you’ll have to sand it. More teeth, less sanding. I suggest lacquer paint.

A lot of things to take away! Little did I know that Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers knew as much about cabinets as he knew about being a multi instrumentist. I love this video!

The wife here, I had no idea who that was and has to look him up. You’re SO RIGHT! They look just alike, terrible teeth and everything!! Thanks for the comment. Hope this video helped!

@@alexandrialatulippe sorry about the somewhat snarky comment. I thought we could all have a laugh. I’ve already used this technic and found it top notch. Very informative!

How much do you charge if I mailed you 6 doors to do?

Can u please do a video on how to modify a cabinet. We do lots of modifications. We generally will make a base cabinet/ 24" deep. Most of the time we need to reduce the depth. Reducing the depth is easy for me until i do the drawers. The drawers are what kills me. Have so much trouble recreating a less deep drawer.

Where can i purchase glass clips sir. U mentioned at the end. Thx sir
@boonecabinetinstallationsl81036 ай бұрын
I’ll be honest, I usually just get them off the job. I see the ones I usually use are on Amazon, Glass retainer clips is what you would specifically search.

How much are cabinet workers making in Florida. I live in nova and making 23.00 per hr. I work in a warehouse. I modify, assemble and deliver cabinets. While doing basic warehouse upkeep. Thanks bro. I have a coworker whos moving to Orlando in about 3 months. I told him they dont pay crap out there. Help me out bro
@alexandrialatulippe7 ай бұрын
Our advice is to start your own installation business and work for cabinet vendors. Never work hourly, do your own thing. We do NOT make $23 an hour :)

@@alexandrialatulippe problem is I don't know how to install. Only been doing this for 3 years. I've helped install with my old boss. He didn't speak good English/chinese. So tbh I never really learned the ins and outs of how to do. I just need way more experience before I jump into that world of installation. My coworker has way less experience.
@boonecabinetinstallationsl81036 ай бұрын
I’d encourage you starting in a shop with custom cabinets. Installation needs background.

I have a serious question. How do u keep the glass to the door. Silicone or any other tricks.we currently use like a plastic clear trim. How do i keep the glass in tack from falling out qhen using the clear plastic trim.
@alexandrialatulippe7 ай бұрын
Put 4 small dabs in the corners, put the glass in, then silicon around the edges. Or you can buy glass retainer clips. Thanks for watching!

3M make a corner bead adhesive spray (61) specific for this application. Designed for paper/mesh though, not metal. Needs air to cure.

We don’t disagree that is certainly better, being in a household that is far away from a Lowe’s, and has contact glue around, we believe it’s good for people to know this works too at a lesser level. Especially if you reinforce it with screws. Thank you for engaging!
