One problem; when applying the wireDepth to the rectangular shapes (the middle sketches), both left and right position downwards, instead of one going up and one going down. I've followed your tutorial exactly, multiple times, and this still happened. I can send you a screenshot if you'd like? I'd appreciate any help

So I followed the tutorial more and managed to fix that problem. but now, I can't select individual parts, it only selects the whole body when I'm up to the move/copy part

I am so sorry, it turns out, when extruding, the components were set to join instead of "new body". Thank you so much for your tutorial, this helped me more than you'd think!

I find it funny how nobody in the comments knows how to PAUSE or slow down a video on KZbin. You don’t stand a chance in Fusion if you don’t know how to do those simple things on KZbin lol

Very useful thanks. I was starting with a tapered cylinder and trying to "etch" details into it, but this approach looks easier. But as you say there are probably many different ways to do this.

Wonderful video, thanks for making this! I'm hoping to sculpt an organic form that I can manufacture with a CNC. Thanks for the inspiration!

this is impossible to follow. Things seem to be appear out of nowhere. I was waiting to see how you did the circular pattern and then it was just there with no way of actually knowing how to achieve that

Thank you! I want 3D Print Child Safety Clips for some cabinets. I want to have a model the knobs for better accuracy when designing the Clips. Your example is more intricate than what I need, but it seems to be exactly what I need to get me going.

Hey there just found this and its good. The video I mean. A different take with a chilled out teacher on sculpt workspace. So I have a question. Say you have designed a boat hull for example in sculpt. Right then you want to make that for real. You have a cnc design firm with all the machines. Laser, Waterjet, blah blah blah. How do you give them the design and whats the likely machine they would use do you think to produce the flat panels. I guess you'd have to unwed parts in edit form sculpt and lay those flat. Is sculpt the right workspace. A few questions. I wonder if you reply.

A-ha! More 😎 cool Fusion 360 information and instruction. Absolutely wonderful! ❤ For those having problems following along, try using KZbin's video playback speed options to help you follow what is taking place. I use it all the time, and it works great. 👍

I'll echo Alien's comment -- you didn't seem to have a plan, changed your mind several times, jumped through it quickly. Even stopping your video over and over, I still found it hard to follow, in part because my screen for F360 didn't always look like yours. However, I did learn enough from your video to create my own knurled knob (far more simply, in the end, than how you did it). Well, you did say there were ten ways to do a task in F360!

Great concept, potentially great tutorial but REALLY difficult to follow the steps at such high speed, especially if you go to one selection and it highlights then move quickly to another selection and actually click on that one. Units are up and gone fast too.

Hey, thanks for the video! Super helpful! ProTip: art nouveau is feminine and nature inspired, art deco is masculine, and industrial inspired. Both are beautiful.

I've been trying to follow this for over a week now, but your mouse cursor moves to bloody fast,. lol. I'm new to Fusion and I'm trying to design some levelling knobs for my 3D Printer bed. I don't suppose you have a step by step guide do you, Please? Awesome, design by the way and thank you.

Thank you so much for the feedback. You can always slow the video to half speed, but the best bet might be to work through Lars Christensen's fantastic video series "Absolute Beginners" at kzbin.info Lars goes through each tool and its options. Since every tool in Fusion has several options, Lars often concentrates on how to use one specific tool. Just learning one tool takes one or more full videos, and how many tools are there in Fusion - 100, 200 maybe? My video is more of a quick review of how to combine techniques and it covers a lot of ground in five minutes. I apologize for blowing through so much stuff so quickly. I don't have a step by step guide, but the sequence is relatively simple. Here's a list of the basic tools used: Sketching (referencing the centerline) Extruding (using the symmetric option) Revolve Circular Pattern Combine (using the Join option) Fillet (And how to roll back the timeline to edit bodies you created earlier) Seriously, spend a few hours with Lars and then come back and let me know if my video makes any more sense LOL. Hope that helps, and again, my apologies.
