Done Bedford quite a few times in my clio track car and in March I’m booked to do it on my gsxr 1000r How does the track feel on a bike as in the car it still feels a little bumpy and not the best surface Good videos by the way and bike sounds lovely

I was expecting a bumpy ride but was pleasantly surprised overall. There are a couple of bumps to learn & avoid and plenty of smooth track to enjoy on the bike as well. I've done Bedford in an MX5 and didn't enjoy it much!

Looking forward to it,also how did you find the noise limit? I have a full system on my bike and even with the baffle in the end can I know I’ll be over the limit 😩

@@Crashed_2_Thrashed The static noise limit is strict. My exhaust is marketed at 99db with the baffle in and they said I was at 100db, which is the limit. I still short shifted out of turn 1 to avoid the drive-by limit. There are better tracks!

Totally unrecognisable from when I went round in 60s, the amount of space allocated to run off areas, must make the spectators feel miles away from the action. Obviously a lot safer but wouldn't imagine as exciting to watch

I wouldn't say it's unrecognisable as the layout has remained almost identical, Gerrard's bend had a large gravel run-off added in the 70s and has been grassed over today to stop the notorious rolls that occurred but despite all motor racing circuits changing for safety's sake you can still get close at Mallory and see the majority of the circuit from various locations. The far worse issue is Mallory being restricted by local authorities because residents complain about the noise, yet they chose to buy houses next to a racing circuit - the venue has lost a lot of income.

Nice, I was in inters too that day. Do you have any more sessions? Think I recorded 3, 5 and 6. Yet to put them up but will do.

@@Crazeeetwins Yeah power 4 is set to full power with wheelie pre-emption, and lots of engine braking (track mode)

@@Crazeeetwins Road fairings, but after trying slicks for the first time this weekend, I've decided it's turning into a track only bike so conversion is imminent! Mine is a 2019, so your 2023 will be slightly more of a track weapon than mine if you do convert it!
