I recently changed tires and put on westlake super eco z107. Quite soft and nice to drive but I discovered that they had a difference in height! So 195/65/15 is not 65 but something like 64. The problem is that when I went up my ramp to park, the bumper would hit it. So I put on Michelins which in the same dimension have 7mm difference in height and I have no problem. The height should be indicated by the manufacturers!

For those who are still struggling with this at the end of 2024 let me help you: hold the bar with the holes in front of you. Make sure the little square is on the left. Push the other bar (with the little ball on it) all the way through. You might think it doesn’t work (like I did) but is does. Now you got a bit of bar sticking out on the left AND right with a hole and you’re finally able to put the holder in. Hope it helps
