Saw your video on old wrap removal. Comments are turned off on that video. You ever try hot water to remove old wrap?

Thanks for letting me know about the comment issue. I will try to fix it. Yes, we/I have tried hot water. In my experience, it can be effective but has its drawbacks. Those are mainly cost - a good professional quality steam is + $900. The other drawback is if you go cheaper like a kettle you can burn yourself - from the splash (this can be a liability for business owners). But hot water is safer than a heat gun (less chance to burn the clearcoat). It can be difficult to make videos public because normally I am making it for our customers who cannot afford our services. People who come to us wrapping have been on the car for 20 years and the car's value is $1k - $5k and they are trying to restore it on the cheap. We rarely get cars wrappings that can be solved by one method. Normally we have to do different methods per section of the car.

@forensicdetailinggarage4104 No problem! I just purchased a mobile unit with a 7 year old wrap and looking for most efficient method. I think hot water is the way to go.
