Re: The heart transplant episode. Its well documented that recipients start to develop some character traits of the donor, also suddenly liking food they never did before and even starting to like sports they hated before.. There's so much anecdotal evidence I believe some of the donors spirit lies in the heart and lives on in the person who receives it.

What a fantastic series with some incredible actors that went on to be big names. 'Need to Know' reminds me of the film 'Pontypool', where people go mad by hearing something passed on by those effected by the madness (also perhaps, In the Mouth of Madness, but that's more what's written or read, than what's said). I wonder how many movies and shows has adapted or been influenced by the episodes in this iconic series, probably a lot.
